i remember that one time when i managed to take out like all of hermes' missile pods with aerorig in one clean slash then killed him right after, wish i could have recorded it and its sad that some people might not believe me
Quick tip: IF you have a jetpack and a 100 DMG melee, you can also accelerate and melee hermes but if you have aeroric you can also do that accelerate and melee
Hermes is by far my favorite boss, and is the 2nd hardest boss in dvn. The top is ofc ares (epilouge exclusive boss) Hermes is really a good boss that is also challenging, when 2 rocket barrels are destroyed, he will try to repair all rocket barrels to use it again. Only way to dmg hermes is to clear all barrels and shoot him with any weapons (not melee weapons or the machete)
Ares isn’t as hard as Hermes ngl. The issue is that a lot of maps don’t have enough vertical cover against Hermes. Ares spawns in epilogue wave 3, and he’s much more possible to beat.
@@vecipheragain I guess so but ares has more abilities, but idk if more abilities equals to more strength. But I remembered that hermes was sometimes easy to beat. The armor peeler can go through the window of the helicopter and hit the pilot. And bolter can sometimes be good for destroying those barrels
@@Pot... oh that’s interesting the main thing is mobility apart from the occasional charge, ares moves rather slow and can be dodged with enough quick thinking and walls Hermes on the other hand is constantly shooting you because he’s in the sky

Uhhhhh, may i spoke a little bit... 1. We play on 200% and beat hermes on pub, not 50% 2. Play pro server if you are above lv 25 3. Hermes isn't that hard to beat with a coordinated team That its, it not like beating up London Prime in public server.
Yeah, until you in 3rd person and round a corner with a shielder, worse for me as shielder’s shield look very similar to the walls and floors of most maps on low graphics
Fair, as long as your team have good aim and can shred Hermes then it’s easy. If not, then get ready for hell as Hermes does his job as both a suppressive fire, and gassing out players from cover. His 2 different threat means he can be a big threat on his own when there only like 1-2 players remaining

For some reason, 99% of servers I encounter treat Hermes like Daedalus fighting scouts
except scout is replaced by assault and bolter lovers

I had the same thing when he flew almost right up to the rock on the dune map. But I died with him , and his allies finished him off .
