Underutilized Florida Natives

The Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Professional Landscape Series provides free, science-based information on topics of interest to green industry professionals, landscape architects, and community association managers. This session will provide an overview of attractive and functional ornamental native species that are underutilized in our landscapes.
Dr. Sandy Wilson presents "Underutilized Florida Natives with Proven Performance." She is a professor in the Department of Environmental Horticulture at the University of Florida. Her research focuses on characterizing the invasive potential of ornamental plants and native plant propagation and production.
