Besides hyunioongs controversy which end up mostly false accusations and jungmin's pre debut condom add.. they are actually hilarious and kind persons. I can recommend their variety shows of them and there's no turning back if you are into them just like me. Not to mention, their sub unit and solo songs too. I just dont understand why they are not popular like other 2nd gens kpop group. Probably because of they end the group activities before internet can be easily access and went viral

Thank you for reacting to SS501... It's rare to see reactions for them... I love these guys and they were the first K-pop group I started listening too after watching Boys Over Flowers... They have an OST "Because I'm Stupid" for this show... The show also led me to SHINee who I love to this day... You should listen to Chance and Snow Prince by SS501... Really good songs... Side note... I've seen the Thailand version of Boys Over Flowers and Meteor Garden which are awesome... Still need to watch the Japanese version though... Again, thanks for the reaction... ☺️

To answer your question, mood maker...i'm not entirely sure but i'm going to say Jungmin. though i'd say put him with Hyungjun(maknae) and they would create the most hilarious duo. Jungmin probably led the humor and personality in the group though. honestly, i love both. Youngsaeng n Kyujong were the calmer sane ones. Hyunjoong's 'character' was the 4D one but i'd say he's also more on the calmer side. i remember back then when i was new with kpop, SS501 fame was HUGE. but most of the fame came from Hyunjoong's popularity and that kinda turned me off from checking out the group. i just didn't find a group that is popular for 1 member appealing and to add to that, i didn't find Hyunjoong that appealing too for all the hype. thank goodness i had some persistent online buddies who didn't gave up from persuading me to give them a try knowing i might like their music. and really, their music is really my style. and i instantly love Jungmin n Hyungjun for their voices as well. i remember my first SS501 comeback after becoming their fan was Dejavu. and i would really recommend try watch their variety shows...this group really got some personalities alright. it made me upset that everyone only cared abt Hyunjoong when the entire group had so much to offer in all areas. if i can recommend one show, do try 'Thank you for waking me up' (th-cam.com/play/PLFin2GNT6_r6ODKE66ruFiiTv713qtJco.html&si=Fst3PZ28wy9BDsuL) That show is freaking hilarious. it's abt the MC/host trying to wake the SS501 members with various methods. there's a few episodes of it. definitely a must watch. it really made me appreciate all members for their own individual traits like how sweet n clueless Kyujong is and the riot duo that is Jungmin n Hyungjun and Youngsaeng who's funny while not doing much n just trying to keep his style intact n Hyunjoong who just won't wake up. while still in the group, each member released a solo for one of their albums(2 actually if we count Japanese release) and that's how i knew not only Jungmin is my fav voice, he also has my fav music style...while other members did trendier dance/rnb/kpop stuffs he collaborated with vocalist from one of my fav rock ballad K-indie bands for his solo. he was also the first member to debut as a soloist. so far i love almost all of his releases. he wasn't that active with releases in Korea but he released tons of music in Japan under his name as well as under his vampire/devil alter ego/persona, Romeo. sadly as much as i love Hyungjun voice i don't vibe as much with his music style...though i do have a few songs i love from all members' solo careers(yes, they all went solo).
