We've been very happy with ours...we have the same as the tester, even the colour. As for the back seat room, my 14yo daughter likes being back there. She's not bothered by her sisters (twin 10yo) and has lots of room. If we have to bring the dogs, or luggage, we sit all three kids in the 2nd row and put the third row down for plenty of luggage space. Great comfortable, tight drive, decent fuel consumption...the only gripe we have is the plastics below the front seats, brittle in winter.
I know I'm going to get a lot of opinions on this comment, but here goes. I personally have a 2002 Kia Sedona, which I currently at 100,000+ miles and it has never failed me. I myself always would have thought," Ha, a Kia, you have to be kidding me!" Until I found this minivan which, surprisingly handles like a car. That's all I wanted to say.
"for a KIA" That's what I always see from your biased attitude against Hyundai and KIA. Any video about Hyundai and KIA, and you're there bitching about them. KIA has offered several amenities that could not possibly be worth even less. Already, people have said it's great bang for the buck, especially with qualit and quantity.
Hi. I just need advice on whether to buy Sorrento 2014 or 2015. What is the crucial difference? 2- Is Kia Telluride 2014 or 2015 better than Sorrento? Regards
2014 Is the start of generation of Sorentos. The vehicles are going to be 97% the same without diving in. 2015 would just have tweaks improving on the first model year, buts its the same SUV.
except the brand logo, everything is very Volvo or Audi price, look and quality which is very odd, and made customers very confusing, 75% of customers skipped for that reason. they go "why should I pay $40k for a KIA?"
I really don't get why many car reviewers complain about the SUVs or crossovers not having a "auto-lift gate" when there's only one car available with that in this segment, "Ford Escape". I think the "auto-lift gate" is more of a luxury in this segment that shouldn't be complained about. Everything looks nice on the sorento, but the interior color and feel seems a little bland :l
The sorento is decent. I almost bought one but decided on a loaded Toyota venza. The resale of kia, materials and image of the brand really turned me away. The deal I went to wanted $28,999 for a used ex v6 luxury sorento. Wayyyy to much for any kia let alone $35,000 or more.
Wow, so sad! You guys in US got a model with minor changes, the tail light are exactly the same in the previous model. The model sold in Europe, Asia and the rest of America has better features and better refreshed design. If you want to see how is the Sorento outside US, please check this video: watch?v=palVqCOFek4
Fvgotch I want ppl to know about hyundai and kia and to make a smart decsion. Alot of ppl get caught up in looks of the car and don't take in to account the reliability, resale, materials etc. I think hyundai kia are almost there but not yet. Relax dont get your panties twisted buddy
This video was horribly edited. That was embarrassing. You guys are usually the best but this was awful! As for the sorento. They do not all come with push button start standard either. They really aren't a good value. This model is $37,000 not $33,000. It's way to much for a kia especially with the awful resale. I almost bought one of these but bought a 2013 Toyota venza limited.
I think you should delete this completely idiotic and moronic comment. American products do very well. GM Daewoo sells very well (Guess who really made the Cruze, Beat, etc.? DAEWOO.). Aside from the other products that another user has posted, American goods (some of them) are considered a luxury. Get over yourself. FTA would be ideal for American markets since there is huge want for Samsung, LG, Pantech, Hyundai, KIA, Ssanyong, etc. BTW-- Hyundai is the biggest ship builder.
10 years later I am still happy with my Sorento

I work for Kia... The metal looking interior and the leather wrapped (non leather and wood) steering makes this vehicle look like a 2011, not 2013.
The Sorento still looks great after a few years. Minivans are best for carrying 7 passengers in comfort with enough cargo area behind.
My mom has the LX with the rounded fog lights. It gets up and goes. V-6 engine
The Soreno

Can you review the 2.2 diesel Sorento that has 197 HP, and 422 Nm Torque. Thanks

Please try FIAT Freemont, RENAULT Koleos or Chevrolet TrailBlazer instead - very nice designed suv-vehicles. No, we not like kia.
