This reminds me of a 1929 film called "Man with a Movie Camera". It invented many new editing techniques and was made of footage of different Ukrainian cities at the time. It is very interesting to compare it with these city tours and think about how in almost 90 years both the cites and the art of film-making have changed or remained similar. One of my favorite videos I've seen on this channel.
Lviv seem like a lovely place :) I have for 10 years been planning to move from Norway to somewhere less expensive (I have regular income no matter where I move). Ukraine and Lviv is at top of my list now, I really like Eastern European culture and people. I have been 2 times to Murmansk Russia and did like what I see but Ukraine have even more of what I like and non of the things I did dislike about Russia ;)

I wish that they had turned it into some sort of museum or memorial rather than a hotel considering its history. The Germans used it as a concentration camp for prisoners of war during WW2 and some 100 thousand prisoners were starved to death. Sad history which I understand isn't mentioned by any signs or anything. Haven't been up there personally but will try to next time. Hope you'll have a great summer!

"What to see in this romantic city" should actually be a statement, not a question. It's a common grammar mistake that Ukrainians make, even among my friends who are practically fluent.
@@davidwiley8752 Sorry, but not true. If you start the sentence with What + infinitive, it is exclusively a statement and never the proper way to phrase a question. Would you ever say, "Excuse me, where to go in this city?" I would hope you would say, "Excuse me, where would you recommend me going in this city?" Would you say, "Waiter, what to eat?" A person fluent in English would ask, "Waiter, what should I eat?" If you start the question with "Can you tell me what to see in this romantic city" that's perfectly fine. But if you came up to somebody and just asked, "What to see?" or "What we do?" that would not be correct English.
