James is my hero. I tried to give my husband a haircut and it was awful! James was so confident and skilled with that hair trimmer-I was very envious. That’s just not in my skill set. Your haircut looks fantastic!

Fantastic, I do wish I had straight hair. I had my daughter snipping layers in the back of my hair today, I told her only the bits aove my fingers, and pull any white ones out whilst your there. My mother used to do our fringes, when our hair was wet 🤦🏼♀️✂️it's funny looking back with my sister, at our school photos. 🤣And I have to do my little blind 4kg shihztu/poodle, as no one can do her. Our groomer retired, just as she stated having 5mgs of diazepam up her. She's blind, and hates it. Luckily I don't have to give her it now, as we have the grooming table up, and I can do her a bit at a time, and not in one go. The front legs and face, are the hardest bit. You look lovely with tha Bob. 😊💕

I just watched the haircut video, oh my gosh! My husband cuts my hair at the back for me, just in a straight line but he is not allowed to touch the front, you are so brave! Well we know James could always make it as a hair dresser! My hubs cuts my hair sometimes too, but then it's hard to screw it up. The only time he screwed it up is what made it this short, but I love it like this. My daughter is getting married next month (if the Covid gods allow it to happen! lol ) so I've grown it in a bit-I hate it!! Can't wait for tomorrow putting James on the spot! lol

I watched Finding Ohana because I graduated from high school in Hawaii eons ago. My high school friend from Hawaii highly recommended it so I decided to give it a go. Well....I’m like you I wasn’t impressed and the acting was BAD! 😳 I just started watching you this week and have thoroughly enjoyed every video so far. Kay from the Bakery Bears recommended you on POP live last week. Your calm demeanor is wonderful and I love your connection to your animals and family. Keep it up Paula!😊❤️
That was so funny when he made the first cut, your expression and “that feels short!” My husband has been cutting my long hair for me for years, sharp hair shears only, and I learned sit still, keep your head straight. The first couple times that he gave my best friend a haircut, he was constantly saying keep your head straight. It certainly takes more talent to use the clippers to do a haircut. A friend of mine visited last spring and asked hubby to give her a short summer pixie cut, and he did the whole haircut with clippers only, and with attachments. She had never had her whole haircut done with clippers only, and she found it to be an interesting experience. She liked the haircut, was just surprised that he did all of the cutting with the clippers. I do suggest that you get a decent cape to keep the itchy hair clippings off your clothes.
When my husband trims my long hair, speed is not something I am concerned about. He sections and pins my hair up, then it lets it down in increments to trim each layer of my thick hair, while he also removes split ends. He does both of my teen boys’ haircuts with the clippers, plus he keeps the barber cape in the bag with his barbering tools, and a stylist cape in the pouch, so getting caped every time is standard for our haircuts. When he gave my friend a short pixie cut last summer, he caped her with the barber cape, used a neck strip just like he was giving one of my boys their haircut. Being she wanted her hair cut boy short, he used the same process as he usually does to include using the peanut clippers on her neckline.

James when your cutting with scissors use your ring finger and thumb you’ll get better balance and control... remove your thumb when combing 👍 and tell Paula to sit still ! If she can 🤣 ... other than that great job 👍 you’d make a great hairdresser you’ll have clients queuing up especially with that smile of yours 😉

Well we are not professionals and all the hair was gone by the time I gave it a blast with the hairdryer so not an issue really
