    that explains so much as to why my chokes never worked, my leg wasn't pointed outwards. I always just squeezed and hoped for the best

      It looks easy when you watch MMA fighters pull it off, literally just looked like you squeeze their neck with your hamstrings but I learned the hard way when I started training mma and we did grappling 😂

      "hoping for the best" is always a sign of shitty technique
      If you don't know how a choke works you cant make it work against good blue belts or higher

    Excellent. Tried to execute this in class today but my triangle didn't feel as tight as I wanted it to be. I got a tip that I should try to place my thigh that is clamping down on the triangle in front of the opponents shoulder for more pressure. That angling of the leg does the same effect. Can't wait to try this out.

      Jose Pagan you better watch out because someone can easily punch/knee/grab and yank your nuts in full/half/ or triangle choke in a real self defense situation. i know in mna sports you're not allowed to do groin attacks, so it works for that.

    Dude your making it way too complicated
    At th 3:37 mark his left arm should already be to th other side of your body before you lock th triangle
    I hope this isn't a tutorial and nobody tries to use your method because agenst someone trained or not who ever tries your method is going to get hurt

  • @angel-rq4fz
    @angel-rq4fz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    when you let go of his Left Arm and both your legs on his back ,he will stand on his Knee ,posture or stack you .Your triangle began good with Arm Trapping but continued quite poorley ! Too bad.
