My late father and Pt. D. V. Paluskar were Guru -bhais..... both disciples of Pt. Vinayakrao Patwardhan ....
I and our entire family have been hearing Paluskar Sahib's golden voice for years.... 76 years....
And we will continue to do so till the last breath of our lives!

Paluskar has been one of my favourite artists ever since i was a mere five years old. He is totally brilliant and with a superb voice. He has influenced many other singers. No one has mentioned the fantastic. sarangi player - he is PANDIT RAMNARAYAN. as a very young man!. It was. not too long after this that he decided to play only solo and not accompany, and instead develop his career and the sarangi as one of the greatest solo sarangi players. Thank you to Raju Asokan for uploading these full length recordings of Pt Paluskar. Such a great shame that he passed away at such an early age - he had already reached great heights asa classical vocalists but the sky was the limit for him.

Sri Pulaskar should not have died in that young age. Nation lost a talented singer. Sad.

Excellent. The maturity belies his age. I cannot think of any other musician whose untimely demise was such a big blow to hindustani classical music.

There is a poem in Marathi --जो आवडतो सर्वाना तोचि आवडे देवाला meaning one who is liked by all is also liked by god. And that is why he is taken away early. If he was alive he would have become the topmost singer of second half of last century.

Mesmerizing. Paluskar in his 40s and Nikhil Banerjee in his 50s are the two greatest premature losses to India's musical culture.

      Dr.Vidyadhar Pandit
D.V.P. ji.gives a spiritual saintly experience through his apparent simplicity of presentation which is so rare that even his disciples could not immitate it. Both Bandishas are traditional This appears to be that when he was not even 30 years old. My thanks to Raju Bhai.

Great and sublime rendition.Pundit Paluskar was also an intellectual and and a scholar of Indian classical music .
An ardent fan of Pundit Ji has labelled the people who disliked are from Pakistan .
This is an allegation soaked in hatred which is against music and religion..
I'm a Muslim and im from Pakistan now based in London.
I have taken some lesson's/taleem from Pundit Rajan and Sajan misra .
A few lessons from Ajoy Chakraborty.
Ladies and gentleman this Hindu /Muslim divide based on hatred is a creation of English. Rulers.
The indian classical music is great heritage for world and humanity ..it's a music for which both Muslims and Hindus made great contributions .
      So let's celebtrate.
