Connor you always have the most helpful pickleball videos available, thank you! And Kenadi it has been great to watch you advance to a 5.0 competitor, congratulations!
Hi, Conor, love your TH-cam videos and you do a great job with your coaching techniques along with your sisters & friends. I am interested in your products but live in the United Kingdom, are you likely to start shipping internationally at some point? I am sure that there are many new pickleball players all over the world that would love to purchase your products after watching your videos.
Deception is outside of my current pay grade. I think it's dangerous to work on this before you have full command of what shots you _should_ be using, without needing to add disguise.
Hi. I have just two questions. It looks like Kennedy has a slight upward toss to the ball on her serves. Is that legal/acceptable? A lot of the folks with whom I play insist one must simply drop the ball before the strike and have no upward movement to it. Also, what is the grip she is using? It looks like it is western. Does she change her grip for other strokes? Or just keep it western (if I am correct about that)? Thanks.
I feel like there's a lot of professionals and a lot of 4.5-5.0 who are bangers. But they just choose when to bang. I feel like there's absolutely no bangers in the 3.5-4.0. When I think of bangers, I think of ex-college tennis players who are picking up pickleball who can seriously drive the ball at you. That happens in the pros but they just don't do it all the time on every shot but they can still hit the shot hard it's just not on auto fire where it happens on every shot non stop.
@@evelynmurphy9102 I actually just switched from a paddle with a shorter handle to a paddle with a longer handle and for me it made a massive difference, much better control. The paddle that enhance Pickleball sells on their website is the one I just purchased and it’s awesome, I highly recommend it, it has an awesome grip and also great for power and control, a nice all round paddle
@@evelynmurphy9102 Not sure if they would agree, but in my experience most former tennis players do prefer a longer handle, especially if you have a nice two handed backhand. Gives you just a little more comfort bringing your hand in there. Best way to know is just try 2 or 3 handle lengths with ALL of your shots and see if there is any major weak point with any of them.
But you don’t have to have a tennis backround to be good though….. I mean Dylan Frazier is technically ranked 1 in men’s doubles as of right now and he never played tennis or ping pong

Great to hear!
Great teaching video and it was nice to see Kenadi take more of an active role in the video.
I like how you show it in slow motion, great video👍
Knowing shots make you 3.7. Being 5 is doing them consistently at the right time to the right place. It's the thinking + the doing.
This is great. I played for the first time on Monday and lost all 3 games, lol
Affective techniques are what I need. Thanks!
Great advice re: topspin and spin in general!
Great lesson. Very comprehensive!
Thanks Br !
More Kennedy please

Good vid to let your sis explain some. She's in so many thumbnails, it was weird to almost never hear her talk
Thanks for this excellent an quick instructional PBall Vid!!
Great vid, cheers guys
Later during a game, instead of a normal (flat) smash (overhead), I'll do a slice smash to add some deception.

Great video, thanks!
I would really like to see Kenadi and Kimmi play.
Your video is very nice. I like it very much
Dang: beautiful….
I mean the court, wherever that is that you are playing.
😊
Using the sister as click bait. I'm not even mad

It’s ok, just can’t impart spin as she releases the ball. You can’t toss the ball on a bounce serve. Grip is probably a semi western
@barryweiss:
You can "lightly toss" as long as the ball is "Struck" below the waist..
The slow motion shoes Kenadi is doing just a little bit of a toss on the serve.
And its legal. Re-read correctly the rules ! The only thing you cannot do is adding spin while tossing it.

For the serve, it is better to have contact point higher then in this demo
Kennedy said she’s playing with extra grip. Does she mean a longer handle?
Do longer handles slow down your reaction time?
She’s saying a paddle with good grit on the surface. So it can grab the ball better when you add spin
@@EnhancePickleball thx! Do you recommend longer handle for former tennis player?

@@studawg66thx for advice!
I just watched another “pro” say don’t use your wrist for roll volleys. 🤷♂️
On a volley defending power you shouldn’t but on a roll volley you should
Wasn't Kenadi already an advanced tennis player, though? This is a bit deceptive. If you're already a seasoned athlete, you have a major edge.
Yes, a majority of 5.0 players have prior racquet sports experience. The skills are the same either way.
does she have an OF?

@@deatonsports8629 That wasn't my point - lol.
Sure that's an edge and some of the skills noted here were ones she brought from tennis, but some required work on her part to become 5.0.
Till she wins a 5.0 match in a major tournament you loose your credibility with that title.
Serve looks illegal
What part of it do you think is illegal?
Perfectly Legal Serve!
It s a closed stance serve and her contact with the ball is made below the waist level (navel); tip of paddle head below
