I'm old but nobody calls me "Sir."
Count your blessings.
I call most people sir, i also mostly talk to men because woman are scary and usually don’t like me
My dad is abit old and he gets called sir ALL the time 😂
I think you may be a bit mistaken sir
Sir, are you sure?
Okay old man
no matter what you say, it will be misinterpreted. If you're a foreigner, though, Koreans tend to be more forgiving :)
True 😁
Thanks, old bag !
@@punkinpie2 old bag...
Yes keep on being delusional lol . Yes many are forgiving but at the same time there are ones who absolutely hate forgigners especially someone who does not fit in their insane beauty standard
@@punkinpie2 old bag ......... 🙃
Don't worry girl because he himself look like a samchon😂😂😂
LOL
No no ahjussi 😂
@@Gigi_B10 🤣🤣🤣
@@Gigi_B10 whats the difference??
@@bryankim3712 samchon means the kind of uncle you'll have in your family/ relatives. Like your relative uncle. While ahjussi refers to the kind of uncle who is a stranger. You know the one you'll find in public.
"Thank you ajjumma"
"Welcome harabeoji" 😂
At this point i would just tell Gamsahamnida😅
Exactly lol
@yoongimarriedtojiminslostj7617 Btw it's ✅'Gamsahabnida'✅ not ❌Gamsahamnida❌
" Welcome ahjussi "
Problem solved 🗿
For people who don't understand it means like he is saying to her thank you old lady
Because ajoma means old lady
What is Grandmother?
@@elizabethstoner3730 go sleep you didn't get any sleep to think this so go pls❤
@@elizabethstoner3730halmeoni
@@elizabethstoner3730 hi grandmother is Halmeoni
Thank you!❤
Than answer him "Welcome ahjussi"
mean welcome uncle 😂😂
Thanks for explaining
Pretty sure he called her aunt/auntie, which is kind of like calling someone old/telling someome they look like a mom/grandma. Noona is more polite if you're closer. I could be wrong though
Isnt ajjumma almost equivalent to saying hey old lady?
You are correct 🤣👍
@@bryankim3712 It's like ma'am or madam, which young women might not like because it implies you think they're older.
It means MADAM
Ajumma and Ajhussi
These words mean auntie and uncle
ohhh
So, what we called to address someone?
This makes me wanna do
it more 😂
Lolol
Ajumma means auntie for those who don't know😊😊😊
Thanks for 328 likes guys
My sister was an Aunt at 14 as many women are..... What's the problem. The bad thing about Kieran is the honorifics prevent the use of someone's FIRST NAME...... So saaad.
Hi
love your creativity ❤
Thank you ❤️❤️
😂😂😂😂it was necessary to say " Nonna "
"Hwanyeong Ajhussi"
Just said welcome Ajushi problem solve LOL😂😂😂
I learned my lesson the hard way.................... 🥲
What happened?
If it was two words then I would have guessed Oli London
Same as ajusshi 😂
I knew it'd be ahjumma the moment i saw her😭😭
It's like when I get ma'am'd 💀
You sound so much like how people in kdrama talk ❤
Funny!!!😂😂
"Ajumma?"
wow, he really called her old 😭
Its the same in India but with auntie💀
thats crazy😭
What does gamsahamnida ajumma?
he called her Mam.
You mean ma'am? (Ma'am is a contraction of the word madam.)
For those who dont know what "Ahjumma" means it means aunty or old lady
correct me I I'm wrong people ❤
Ajumma?😂
U r not alone sis... my 20yr daughter went shopping 3 days ago and the cashier well in her 40s called her auntie...she's still in shock😂😂😂
It means Old lady or auntie
This ajumma's videos are so good. I like them very much ajumma 😂❤❤
Whenever I go to Korean stores. I just say “annyeonghaseyo” and “Gamsahabnida”
ㅎㅎㅎ
Like 'behenji' in india😂
Ajumma
☠️
I'm 12 and like in school like walking down the stairs and like a boy goes up the stairs beside me and like bro bumped into me and said 'sorry ma'am' is it cuss i wear glasses i don't even look like a teacher yall😭😭💀💀
Dude I'm also 12 and that's sad 😂
Same goes in india too😂
I'm korean and he said thank you miss but whan you say it to someone not that old he's saying thank you old lady😂😂😂😂
Please enlighten me. Does the word change to "ma'm" when a man tells it to a woman the same age as him or slightly older, and becomes a "miss" when an older man tells it to a younger woman? Or vuce versa?
Well he looked like an ajusshi
Oh my lolol
This video is right regardless of the intended comedy in it. Even if it’s someone clearly much older…just address the person by name and I think that’s the safest in most places…isn’t that so?
However…I have a question…besides men and women in their 20s who are already married (I understand if you are married you are called an ajushi or ajuma…is that correct?) at what age do you officially start to be called an ajuma/ajushi? It seems like 35 is really the start of middle age so do you start being called ajuma/ajushi post your 35th birthday? I don’t think being called an ajuma or ajushi is an insult at all, but of course depends who says that and what context. If someone older says that to someone who is obviously much younger than them or if it’s used in a very degrading context (well if you say “what is wrong with you that you haven’t even done x at your age, ajuma/ajushi?” Or “who is ever going ever want you, ajuma/ajushi?” Yeah that’s putting someone down based on age) then it might be insulting…but if someone half your age says so you might not be offended…age is relative.
Ajumma? 😅
If he were younger it would make more sense, but doesn’t he seem like an ajusshi himself?
Ajumma😂
😆
At that point you should call him ajashe 😅
🤣🤣🤣
@@EverythingKorea-ce5gc 🤣🤣
Ah well, when I was over there everyone asked me if I was a virgin when they meant was I single.
They asked was i from England? When they meant am I an English teacher.
And was I Russian when they meant was I a Pr+stitute.
I don't know when that was taught or how much of it was stereotyping how much was old bad textbooks but it felt very odd.
Answer this:You’re welcome halabeoji or Ajussi
thanks for the video Ajuuma 😂
Omg 😱
@@EverythingKorea-ce5gc 😅 죄송합니다 온니
You can be a pretty ajumma
What’s ajumma 😂
Not him looking like someone's 할아버지 😂
why a ajumma in a convenient store here in south korea call me samchon or sachon i think, whenever i buy something??????
Lol thank you
I'd be happy they called me ahjumma. 😊
@duradura1167 how so?
Because I don't look old. If they called me ahjumma, meaning they know my real age and respect me even more.
Ahjummmmaaaaaaa?!!!!!!! Even in other country also a big nooool
What should we say😂 instead?
Is "Ajumma" means aunty? And "ahjussi" means uncle?
Nobody likes being called old 😭
For sure 😡
Ajhumma is used for old people so they get offended. And if youbare a boy say noona but if you are a girl say unni so it soinds more appealing
👍
I’m 45- so definitely in Ahjumma age group- and I’d be sooooo insulted! - even though I have no problem being called Aunt in English!🤷♀️😅😂 (although it’s mostly children under 10calling me that lol)
45 considered Unnie 😊
So is Ahjumma insulting just because of the age?
Are New in Korea right 😅
"welcome ajhussi" problem solved 😂
Lolol
But you're not that old to be called ajumma😮
I married an Indian man and now everyone is calling me ma’am out of respect and I absolutely hate it. I feel just like this. 😂
😂😂
At least you are pretty auntie
If it's 아주머니?
The two times i was called an aunty i seriously thought about it for a long time. I kept thinking what could they have possibly seen to make it seem like I’m past 35 years old.
😂
Bro im a korean and um my cousin called my bffs mum AJUMMA and u do not want to know how it ended- 😅
What's the meaning of Ajumma?
Because it means granny
하하하하하 😂😂😂
It means middle aged or a married woman pretty much like calling her aunty😅
What is ajumma?
My girl just got auntyed by an uncle
안녕 아주머니.. 😂

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.. 😂✌️
The people who dont know what is ajumma
👇
Aunty lmao
Better than if you were called ajusshi
Lolol
You look like one ahjumma tho...
The irony being that some woman’s would react in such a way to being called ahjumma, that it would make look even MORE like a stereotypical “Ahjumma”!🤷♀️😅👍🏻
I think ajumma means madame 😅😊
Noo it means aunt
What does it mean ajuma?
Maybe aunt?
Why did they even pet your dog
My dog is just a simple dog but he has ALOT of trust issues he'd flip out if someone just pet him💀
Lmao
But what does it mean?
Lol
?
How you say "how long are you gonna take?"
You can say- Ulmana geol-ryuh(얼마나 걸려)?
@@EverythingKorea-ce5gc okay , thanks
I got called auntie by a 50yo woman when I was 13!!! In India, when I looked surprised she said it was because I was tall!!!! 😂😂😂 (this was in India)
What does Ajumma mean?
its older women maybe 40yrs old and above before becoming a grandma. hehehe
@@hypeDs ohhhh tysm

Auntie
Middle aged women to be polite use Noona if you close enough but it's OK just call him Ahjussi male version of what's being said... but he did say thank you lol😮❤
