I was watching some Top Gear and suddenly got reminded of a Red Transformer that I had around 10 years ago, Spent almost 2-3 days searching for the name randomly, came across this video, so many memories! It's crazy how someone form other part of the world made this video for guys like me to feel nostalgic ! Thanks for this video!
I got this guy complete at an antique mall last year. He. Is. SO GOOD! I find him MUCH more interesting than that recent Siege figure.

love the torso on this mold. one side sideswipe, turn the limbs and head around for sunstreaker.
I think Universe Blaster is good, except his "shield" always doesn't want to stay on the blue connecting part. But he does have two guns that transform into bombs, along with a mini-con: Blockrock.
For Universe 2 Sunstreaker, I usually transform the arms first to give the legs the clearance to unfold into their robot mode configuration.
is his shoulder rocket supposed to be on the left shoulder, or the right? I've seen it done both ways in different images and in different media. i also ask because i have the Fanstoys Parallax G3 Trailer for Classics Optimus Prime, which comes packaged with a custom chrome shoulder rocket for Universe 2 Sideswipe and i want to be sure I'm putting it on right.

Not sure why but I'm more partial to the Red Alert version. The gun peg seemed a bit big for my shoulder slot so I just barely sanded around the bottom of the peg till it fit. Good job on the review fellow Floridian.
given you always bring up gas caps I feel safe complaining the car looks weird without side mirrors
yeah it's a great figure, it is. but one thing i will say about it, is that i wish the head was just slightly more G1 ish. other then that, it truly is a great figure and i hope to get one one of these days.
I have sunstreaker, although his knee ball joints were a very big problem.

Not sure if anyone else has said it but i think a random review of an Alternators would be cool, Another one i don't how many other people would to see it but og Armada Starscream i really like the toy and i'd like to hear your thoughts on it

Hey TJ Nintendo and skylanders are working together there are 2 characters in the new game Bowser and Donkey Kong
i really like the mold but not for all the characters they made out of it, for instance, counter/punch,, and specially, not susntreaker, i get the twin deal, but, i would have liked if they waited till they released tracks/wheeljack to repaint into him instead, as for this figure, i like red alert better XD, sideswipe still looks very good though
The Tracks mould wouldn't have worked as Sunstreaker; the engineering of the chest and overall shape of the legs just doesn't scream Sunstreaker to me.
it is way more sunstreaker than a sideswipe repaint you know?

i meant the design, it clearly was designed to be sideswipe even if they released it as susntreaker, because, even with the alternate chest transformation, it still lacks every other iconic detail, like the front of the car as the feet for instance

So Straxus and Black Shadow get Generations toys, but Ironhide and Prowl aren't worthy? That makes a lot of sense.
I love Ratchet as a character but the universe toy looked awful.
tbonbrad Eh......not entirely. While the vehicle modes for Ratchet and Ironhide are horrible, it's the robot mode that saves the day. Plus, ANYTHING is better than the G1 toys of Ironhide and Ratchet.
I don't like the robot modes on those either of those toys because they look like they tried out eating fattumus prime but I agree its an improvement over g1. Why the comics and the cartoon made two of the best transformer characters out of those toys I will never know.
6:49 I'm not a huge fan of the proportions they seem just a little off at least I'm my opinion
