  • In this video of the RARE 1986 F350 crew cab dually revival we dive into the top end of the engine to find what all the noise was and discovered 2 bent pushrods, I end replacing them to discover that even worse catastrophic engine failure occurs while the truck is running. Watch this video to find out what happened to the ol 6.9 idi engine in this bullnose ford!
Please watch the other videos in this series to see what’s to come on the 1986 F-350 crew cab 4x4 dually revival, and as always thanks for watching and like and subscribe for more content like this!

i wonder if it ever crossed his thoughts that much oil out tail pipe, should i check what it has left, lol its cool to see these but sad at same time, be cool to see a build of a 6.9 out of the diesels ive heard really like how the 6.9 and 7.3 idi's , but nothing bad on him just seems like engine was needing a rebuild, but they are vary hardy engines

Yeah I never really noticed the oil out the tailpipe until after it was running, although the whole time while cranking it was pumping more smoke out that pipe compared to the other one

You had rusted open valves, and you kept running it and the valve head broke off and started parting with piston. Should have shut it down immediately when it first started. O well live and learn. Cool old truck. I have 4 idi's
