Difference between 9 Handicap and 2 Handicap in CRAZY WIND!?

- Today I'm playing a 9 hole stroke play match against Jonny from @JonnyPlaysGolf . We are playing the back nine at Bracken Ghyll Golf Club and I get an extra shot on 4 holes due to the handicap difference. The wind was a real factor in this match and makes for an entertaining watch (I hope!)

Think we need to start a petition to get Fents and Woody on the channel for a match. Let get the banter back! No fist pumps for your opponent, it’s mind games and meltdowns.
I feel like there were numerous meltdowns in this vid, but you are right, we'd only met for the first time in this, so hurling abuse at each other didn't seem right 😂
@@JonnyPlaysGolf don’t take that personally Jonny. The collaborations are great, hopefully allow channels to grow and expand into even better content hitting a wider audience. And we’ve all been in a group where you’ve never met you got to keep it civil haven’t you,

Luke...what does the (W) and (R) following the yardages mean on the hole graphics?
Whites and Reds referring to the tee boxes I believe Hagoo. I got the drone footage from the club website as it was too windy to fly my drone 😂
are youtube handicaps same as normal handicaps ?
No you just roll a dice before you tee off to see what you get that day

I feel sorry for poor Luke, I've brought him in on the worst possible day, he played very well on the front 9 but this was just brutal

Luke can I ask a question? While you have been dropping your handicap, when did you notice that you were getting compression on your irons? About where was your handicap when you started to notice?
Cheers Steve! Tough question that tbh. I think the compression has been getting steadily better this last year as I've worked on trying to be less tense and more fluid in my swing (and still am). I think I noticed my strike getting better around the 15 handicap mark though

I play golf on a cliff top course on the Isle of Wight and it is always windy, so I am always pleased to see golfers struggling in the wind.😂
