Nice to see someone restoring a simple car simple as its not a Porsche or Lamborghini !! Something that a lot of people could realistically restore at a reasonable cost….. fantastic work.
BRO I was offered my parents' old 1994 Opel Corsa 1.5D back in 2007 when i got my drivers licence, I can't even tell how much this car meant to me, it was absolute freedom back then. Thank you for this video it brought back so much memories to me !
Similar story, I got a 94 1.4 Si corsa B in 2008, greatest memories ever made driving around in this car. I still smile whenever I see one (although it extremely rare in my big city… 😢). It got to live it again through this video 🎉
just covered the rust on the chassis with bitumen for favorable rusting under protection. Better to add €150 more and buy a car with few miles and always garaged without rust.
@@joesaric1 It's not Bitumen, it's Lanolin based and yes it projects from further rusting. I've been working with the stuff for quite a few years, so I know it works.
It's wonderful work! Here in Argentina that vehicle was assembled and sold with the Chevrolet Corsa brand. The first were a 1.6 gasoline engine and at the end of its life, between aesthetic redesigns, its engine was also reduced in displacement to 1.4 and was renamed Classic. It was discontinued in 2014, ending a noble and very low-maintenance car that every Remis or Uber taxi driver will always appreciate for helping to bring a little food to the table.
I also had a Corsa, but 2002 model, 1.2 engine. I did exactly the same thing. I completely restored the car in 3 years, just like you did here. I changed EVERYTHING, including catalytic converter, EGR, new exhaust, everything you can think of. I got the car back to immaculate condition. All I had to do was repaint and fix the rust on the doorsills. Unfortunately I couldn't get it repainted and had to sell it. After investments of up to 7000 euros, I sold the car for 1300 euros.
You did such a sweet job on this car, I enjoyed every episode. Cool to see the process in one video. I really enjoyed the fact it was an every day car, a car for the masses. Greetings from the UK 👍😊
Congratulations on the video! It’s very rare to see someone in Brazil producing content like this with the Corsa, a very popular model both in the two-door and four-door versions. It’s truly satisfying to see someone who works so well and manages to create a video like this. Once again, congratulations!
And that's what I'd like to do in life, restore cars to their former glory. I also did a full car cleaning with my Suzuki Swift MKII. The inside of the car is still clean :) Congratulations. Great job.
I love that its the everyday runner, tired of supercar and muscle car rebuilds. Now i must find an Opel Corsa/Toyota Corolla or similar to work on😂 Watching from South Africa, thank you.
I see a lot of comments mentioning the value it has after the work put in it. That's not the point. How many years and kms you will put in this car instead of buying a new crappy car (in comparison) for 25k??? I don't think this is car flipping but bringing a new life to a old working car. Great job!
Partially agree, but this is very old, cheap and not very comfortable car. I would say, it's better to take more expensive one and do restoration on it. This crap still costs about €1k. It doesn't worth such job
One of my dreams would be to restore my parents old Opel Astra. I have a picture of my parents and I on the day it was bought in 1995. The car is now 600.000 km in. Unfortunately is in pretty bad shape, chassis pretty bent from an accident some years ago. But I am glad to see this little Opel come back to life. I have a Citroen Saxo and I don't see myself buying a new car, its just too cheap, simple and useful.
Hola a todos.! Felicitaciones excelente trabajo. Very good work. Solo lo que armamos autos sabemos el sacrificio que es restaurarlos. El tiempo y la dedicacion. Felicidades. Congratulations.! Desde Argentina.😊
It's so satisfying to see you work on the cars. Could you make a video on how to properly grease door hinges? How to clean old grease, what type of grease and how to apply it properly? There's no videos of it out there, and since you are so meticulous and live in Sweden I think you would be the right guy to do so. Love your channel btw
This wasn´t just a series of videos. This wasn´t just a project. This was a complex soul therapy for many. What a beauty.
Top ❤

Thank you so much 😁🙏
@@ejoautovideoscould you give us the cost of all parts to make this restoration? And congrats for the amazing job!!!
'at reasonable cost'.... I'd really like to know how much money went into the replaceparts ^^
The public wants more videos from you! Serious no nonsense work accessible to the masses. Educational & entertaining. Long live the Red Corsa.
Thank you, there will be more! 😁👍

Just proves that even the humblest car can become desirable after such extensive and thoughtful restoration. Great job!
The amount of time and detail you put into this is absolutely incredible. And I love the fact that you picked an old simple car to do this project on.
Thank you so much, means a lot! 🙏
I have saved all of the 5 videos of this project in my videos. In the future please do more videos like that
