You still have to do the big staircase at Plaza of Solitude next to the sculpture in the water. Climb to the top of the bank and then gap the staircase

Would have been cool to see Skate 3 with the ability to do stuff like 540/720 flips or Nightmare flips. Would be perfect for some of these huge gaps like this stairset.
@@ToastyGhost You should definitely try to see if a 1260 flip is possible in something like one of Skater XL's custom maps if you're planning on playing more of it in the future.
dont know if its possible for a double backflip on that last gap. you have to come close to clipping something to trick the game into getting past the first flip.
Unfortunately it's not possible because you can't take the impact. I tried to get it on hardcore many times and couldn't land without falling off shortly after.
To get more speed do an olie and in mid air jump of the board when your moving a bit fast and then as soon as one of your foot hit the ground tap the y button
8:25 i would love to see you gap from where you are standing to flat over where the rainbow rails are ive tried but i just couldnt get the right speed and trust me itll take a while
5:28 the other day I spent about 30 minutes glitching to get onto the clock tower to set up a slide ramp speed thing and all u had to do was to get up on small roof next to it and put one slide 🤦♂️
That tweak he does on the nollie inward, if you do a low pop one on flat so that the animation of the tweak doesn't start, the tweak will then carry on to the next time you get air. An old trick the realism guys use to bone out tricks and add a bit of style. I expect to see it in the next video now Toasty! Bring it dude! I'm usually a realistic skate guy but your vids are highly entertaining and have got me trying some of these insane gaps and sets. Edit: the campus stair set think it's possible to clear the entire set all the way down to flat?
Ikr its a pity you cant control slow flips or fast flips, and control catch 😩 but after all its still the game i play to relax and chill... its the only game which i play since 2013 😀
You should try making the replays of the gap look better instead of just using follow cam! It doesn’t take that long to make it look good with advanced free cam or even just Tripod and zoom! Little bit more effort would make the videos a lot better👌
change your difficulty settings. easy difficulty allows you to take the most impact. hardcore wont let you land really big stuff like that stairset at the beginning.
Somebody helppp!!! I don't get it!! I haven't been able to land a bunch of these Toasty challenges without bailing. This time I copied *Exactly* what Toasty did around 5:00 for the university 50-stair and I cannot land anything without bailing despite everything else looking literally identical to the video!! I got the same speed hit the same spots he landed on and I still bail every, single, time. I've tried both normal and hardcore, multiple different speeds, and like every trick but I just cannot land to flat o~o. hhhellppplz Playin on PS3 btw. Toastyboi if you happen to see this, do you have some advice potentially? Maybe you could address it in a video or something! Then again, it's possible I'm the only dummy who can't figure this out lol
Look man your doing it wrong. I wish I could send you the clip of me doing this. But you gotta put a ramp at the top of the building above the stairs. Set you market by the clock. Follow the 3 ramps down. Ramp and grind the staircase. It's not easy.

Launch off the top of the cliff by the pavilion over the whole stairset. Its possible with a launch ramp, a slide and a speed glitch

You should do fs/bs varial 180s more. Not varial kickflip, but the funky finger flip. And you pair that with a 180 it looks trippy

The underflip is on the first half of the 4th. Quad flip uf isn't 5.5 rotations but rather 4.5 and back
i realized that too. i tried a couple more to see if i could make it more complete, but the game wont let me. Evans right though.
