1 of 2 things. Now, kyoto wasn't realy nerfed. I did it with just side dash couple of times, but I think the most crucial part is that after flowing water, when you use lethal whirlwind stream after flowing water, while the very small chargeup, then quickly aim your camera forward. Or, he has good wifi and his PC isn't potato, unlike mine

Nah, you have to be ahead of your opponent; the differences in you ping make it very difficult. You have to get ahead of them while using 2nd move. and make sure you look in the direction they are getting flung. if anything got nerfed this bad, she would address it.

So that's why I wasnt able to hit any Kyoto combos in duels, but for some reason in time to time Kyoto still works if you do the shift-lock technique.
The shift lock method isn’t the only method that works u can use the original one but u have to turn ur screen for it to work

I do think they might have nerfed it but I’m not sure, I just mastered the combo today after weeks, but from the old clips I’ve seen doing kyoto combo on mobile the hand makes contact with the opponent when they do the 2nd move but for the past few weeks when my hand touched their body it would just go through. Unfortunately I’m pretty sure you now have to have a fast side dash and make sure u side dash before the opponent can rabdoll.

I noticed how Metal bats 4th move Foul ball is also harder to hit the grab. Before you had be near the hit to be grabbed, now you actually have to hit very close or on the oppent to grab. Its like the area when a move can hit was reduced.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I roughly remember the dev reducing the range a bit but in returns it goes through block

I tried the flowing water into hunter graps completely blindly by just remembering how I do Kyoto combo so it didn’t change a whole lot but way easier to do I will say.

cdherieivy is a little bit nerfed u need to get the right ping the ping is 80 ping and the player must have 120 ping or 100 ping to use the kyoto combo or if u like that combo u can use it

i find it easier not using shiftlock while doing kyoto combo so i didn’t really experience that problem

This is weird. For many reasons; I did like 3 Kyoto combo today on mobile (and posted them all) and 2 it’s definitely ping dependant cuz the alt I used was my phone so both accs had the same ping (198-240)
