dude i can do twisted tech without the player or the dummy going too far. the only thing you have to do is when the opponent is at ragdoll state, you need to back only a little. not too much because if you do, the opponent will go too far or you'll miss the m1 extend. to do it successfully, go just a bit back and when it goes ragdoll, you need to dash forward EMMIDIATELY. in return, you'll have the upper advantage to combo the opponent. and the part about flowing dash, you did it wrong. when you perform that tech, its important to keep in mind that when the player goes ragdoll, you need to shake you're camera to the left or right, depending on your choice. as a result, the player will not go far and will get stunned lock for a few seconds and you can do the m1 extend already. you don't need to side dash when doing so because you might miss the opportunity to extend the m1, you don't need to be "fancy" to land a perfect combo. just do it as easily as you can perform it. and another tip, when doing kyoto, i recommend that you should unshif, in doing so, you can dash forward easily and land the combo.

Your step back disables you to land a successful twisted tech and sends your opponent far, which is out of your side dash range and they will easily attack back because you can’t reach them in time before they aren’t stunned anymore.
