Covering the doorbell cam was a chicken thing to do. Going in before daylight? No warning, not identifying themselves is what got that agent shot and the home owner killed. At best this was a complete study in incompetence or out right murder.

I would say cops who were not interested in just being good cops. I am not defending cops on this one and not sure Nadler was defending their actions. He was defending the agency as a whole. The agency as a whole might be doing good work. But this is why you have programs that punish bad cops and keep them from becoming cops if they are bad cops.

I've done over 500 search and arrest warrants and I wasn't involved in this warrant but it sound pretty dirty to me. If it was a "search" warrant and not a "search and arrest" warrant, then there is no reason they couldn't do the search on the first attempt when he wasn't home. Second, there was no reason they couldn't announce and wait for entry into the home on the second attempt. We only did no knock warrants when there was a high risk warrant, or risk of destruction of evidence, and only if we couldn't arrest at another location in a more safe environment. To do it in the dark and cutting the lights plus not wearing body cams sounds sketchy to me. My other comment is how come he says he can't answer questions on the investigation to Jordon and then he proceeds to give specific details about guns being sold by the guy they killed to the democrat asking questions which benefitted him? This guy is as greasy as they come. The government needs to be brought back under control, PERIOD!

The thing I find VERY suspicious of this was they didn't wear body cams, then made a point of disabling the only other source of video that was likely to be recording after they cut the power, if the power is cut, then there's no router for people to use the doorbell cam on devices. Then proceeded to battering ram the door, the only thing it accomplished was to remove any record of what occurred during the raid. It plays out more like a hit than a raid.

I thought of that in 2 minuets of thinking of how this could have been avoided and I have no law enforcement experience.
