To remove the black screen press F5 so it resets the UI.
With career mode you can work as different jobs that fall into categories. you can be a trucker (with your own truck), a delivery person . You can go from delivering boxes to places in your small car , all the way to buying your own truck in the game to deliver companies tankers and trailers full of stuff , you can also by your own trailer for more ease of use. (with whatever vehicle you want) thats the 'labourer group'.
You can race on the streets and on the track against some real race cars or some hot headed ricers on the street.
You can go from racing covets on the streets (the civic equivallent of beamng 😂) or doing time racing in slow cars ,all the way to racing track day cars or built race cars on the track.
This is the 'Motorsports group.
You can become law inforcement and take down suspects. This is the 'specialised group'.
And finally you can do challenges with cars like doing drifting events and crawling challenges and parking ..etc.
They are basically the fun missions. These challenges are the 'adventurer group'.
As you progress through each section and level up, more and more missions are introduced as you complete them. They are dotted around the map , they will provide you a suitable car for every challenge. But you can buy like 5 cars and tune them each to suit every category ,like how you can buy a ETK K-series and tune it for the race track but also buy a hirochi sunburst as a backup dialy driver incase you crashed one of your cars and you dont have the money to fix it or use for the labourer tasks.
You can buy cars from dealerships or online. On the map you can see the dealers in the city available, some are more expensive and some are more cheaper, there are two dealers that sell used cars, theres this one dealer that only sells expensive and its at the bottom of the hill that goes down. You can also buy cars online, the cars can be used or new.
Go onto your computer and you should see it. You can also trade in current cars for a car you want to buy too , also you have to refuel each of your cars (yours came full though). And before you buy a car first ,you should test drive it first as it might be damaged. Let me explain ,if you buy a car with high milleage (it shows it next to the other stats about the car when buying) , its more likely that it has problems, like transmittion problems and engine problem and drivetrain problems, if those things fail youre probebely going to have to full replace those parts as theyre very worn out. You can have a used sports car for cheap ,but if its very cheap and has high mileage then you know why its cheap.
You do the challenges/senarios (they introduce levels and being able to earn money) The list is : Police chases , truck work , running from cops/or being the cops , races , street racing ,challenges , deliveries and some more. These scenarios allow you to earn money and spend it on what you want , you get a car at the start and you slowly work your way up to get a new/ better car , tune it and get more jobs and scenarios. And yes you have insurance 😂

Btw , just add like a turbo onto that car and have some more power. 16:29 you got all of them, theyre all blinking, if it wasnt blinking then you didnt get it. It is kinda confusing since its hollowed out to show its a special requirement star.

@@dragonildreamy161 infact they are literally still constantly working on it. They have a discord forum and a beam website where you can talk to them about the development of career mode. They update you with what's to come. One of those things that the devs pointed out that they were looking at was that they were going to add 'buying your own house' and being able to do things like store your cars in the garage and being able to set up a work station to tune parts of your car. Also they are incorporating being able to interact with objects you might have to use. People started theorising that they might add being able to steal cars (ingame ,not real💀, making sure) using tools. Career is going to be one heck of a punch. 👌

ay bro just a tip, when ur taking orders or picking up parcel, there's a "automatic route" button just below the parcels so u dont need to open the maps

tbh the ETK I series is prob my favorite car in the game, you can basicly make it do anything and its dumb fast once you tune it. also a really great drift platform

The best car you can get in the early stages of the career mode in my opinion is the sunburst AWD sport s. It is plenty fast for just cruising around and it handles well. I got mine for 3k and it is just amazing

@@Lmg1161 yup, it's kinda when you have so much money you want to buy a supercar, it's very much like real life. There's also the dark owl edition of the scintilla. The one with the batman lookin body kit.
In beamng's lore , it was made for a movie called 'the dark owl' (basically beams universes version of batman). Three were only made , it has a upgraded n/a V8 with some factory tweaks. I saw it once on career and you wouldn't guess how much it costs....... close to a MILLION!!!!! CRAZY right, I mean it is 1 of 3 made and it's a pretty fast car with a really expensive body kit. I'm very surprised I even saw it there ,I haven't seen anyone else have it appear for them to buy.

@@Lmg1161 I don't think there's a dealership that has every car ,but I think the one dealership next to the highway exit , the used cars one, right by the cross-section road. That one had the most varieties in the cars I think . But the place that has the most cars available I think is the online computer shopping for cars

Just found your video, I always love seeing and playing career mode in beam. I don't know if anyone told you, but you can add a Speedo while I'm the drivers seat. Hear is how to do it pause and go to UI Apps, there will be a drop down menu. Go to Career Free roaming, add app, then just find one you like and place it where you like on screen. You can set this to pop up in missions too.
tip;when it blackscreens you can just spam the escape button and it goes to normal

i expected it to not max out at 45😂not sure what you mean about the revs once i got to the 5th gear it wouldn’t go higher
@@Volsity you were using petrol which generates most of it's power in high RPMs unlike diesels which generate most of their torque in the low RPM range.
Meaning you should have down-shifted to 4th or 3rd so the RPM would reach at least 4k and then accelerate.
I can't imagine the engine was happy when you tried to accelerate with petrol car in 2K RPM that's a job for a diesel

if you're interested you can get the Fox Courier skin pack which allows you to get cheap semi trucks in career mode. the trucks can vary from box trucks to fifth wheel and usually go for around 1000$ to 5000$. they do come in Fox Courier liveries but you can swap it for one of the free base game paint schemes in the garage. you can then use the trucks to move trailers in the same way you delivered parcels for about 250$ to 800$ per trailer delivery.

Yo, you can hide the wheel in the settings so firstperson looks better. You can find the setting in the Other tab.
when black screen happends just spam esc and etk was slow cuz you put that xL box on top of it when you remove it it will be faster mabe even do 80
if you hit automatic route when u do deliveries you won’t have to go thru the map

Next time you take a bunch of cargo, I BEG you click automatic route in the My cargo section so it plans a route for you to deliver all your cargo, you dont have to keep checking map and going back on yourself

that, "I thought I was getting $5000 per one" line cracked me up. Nah man, you're getting paid per item based on distance, and how how many slots they take up in cargo. Like you go back to the cargo list at 6:25. Those brakes you took to thep lace next door paid you $2.75, the stuff you took to the docks paid you $18.12 and the heavy engine parts you took to the racetrack paid you $68.41. All in all, looking at your final frames of picking up the cargo from the exhause shop, you made $163.17
On the cargo screen, it will show you the "Reward Sum" for how much delivering all the cargo pays you. The best option if you continue with cargo is to drop stuff off, then pick up new cargo at the same spot if you can and just keep going. Eventually you'll unlock cargo that's fragile and can break, or has an actual time limit to get there, and those pay more.

Money making tip: get a car with lots of torque (preferably a diesel 800 series) and go to the pier, they have expensive parcels (1-2 grand parcels). Also get a tow hook and grab a trailer, they pay you 200-400 bucks per delivery.
