The French have been escorting economic scroungers over here for the past 4 years. Anybody can see it on the shipping tracker. The migrants boats can't be seen because they dont have a responder but the French vessels that are travelling less than 5 knots are escorting.

I didn’t even want the first lockdown and broke the lockdown rules at every opportunity. All boat migrants should be sent back to France, we have a Navy, have them sat on the 12 mile point. Keep the boats in French waters and French responsibility. Any boat that enters British water should be intercepted and returned to French waters and French responsibility.

No . The French are responsible for safety on their beaches and in their waters . Bateau Immatriculation is the organisation directly responsible for inshore waters. The vessels are unsafe and should never be put to sea . This is at best incompetence by this organisation, at worst criminal negligence .

Nope. We cannot. There are several conventions that govern maritime law. Any operation involving migrants, including escorting them, must respect human rights and the dignity of the persons involved. So there will be NO escorting "right back". Thye have to be processed first.

@@martynblackburn9632 We paid for them to stop the boats in exchange for money this is a commercial exchange and there for a contract of exchange has been agreed on for a service, a service which the French are not providing as they have failed to to keep up there part of the bargain then they should return our money and cover any "damages" (Namely the illegals arriving here).

The reason the RNLI "rescue" migrants in the channel is because if they land on the UK shores they are breaking the law and should be arrested, but if "rescued" and landed by the rescuers they are just travellers and thus not breaking the law.
Imagine turning up on the beach after a dangerous journey across the channel and you shout at the RNLI "we are here for the fishing!".
That's not true. Some dinghies make it all the way across without RNLI or border force intervention....they are still classed the same, and put into 4 star accomodation.

Correct - we should wait at the half-way stage, then turn the boat around and tow it back, the French can escort us back to France - it would be informative to see what they tried to do about it? All our vessel has to say is, we are rescuing a boat from France, and returning it to you.

£41.6M divide by 23 days = £1.8 M
£1.8M divide by £150 per day = 12.077 people
So instead of giving the money to French for not doing anything you could employ almost 13.000 people for a whole year or help out British people in need.
