I am an ICU head nurse and work a 24-on 24-off shift and find myself lucky if I don’t get called in on my off hours. I find your voice to be most relaxing and soothing and just what I need when I get home to decompress. I am a beginner in the truest sense of the word and my husband has promised me a Bona Fide art studio when all this madness is over. Your videos have me humming Christmas carols and they have been acknowledged by my patients. Thank you so much and God Bless.
Yes God bless you during this very hard time. Please take some time for yourself even if it's 15 min. Just doodle or paint a little. It's so worth the effort!❤❤❤from Arizona
Thank you so much for taking the time to write to me and for your kind words! It always warms my heart to hear that my art and videos help others find their own creative voice. How fantastic that ART has brought you joy in these troubling and chaotic times; it is such a fulfilling and healthy way to externalize our emotions. The power of making marks on paper is so underestimated - it has such a positive impact on our well-being. Not to mention the joy that can be shared by humming a song or two :) So grateful for the efforts you and your fellow nurses take to keep us safe. Wishing you all the best!
I know just what you mean about these videos being perfect for chilling out when your brain is done at the end of the day. I wish you health and strength for doing such necessary work during this difficult time.
Some people enjoy making life difficult for others. My view is that their dislikes say everything about them and absolutely nothing about the content creator or that particular video. A video like this is about as far from controversial as you can get. CC does beautiful and inspirational work!
I also hate when people dislike videos. The work that goes into most videos is worth a like in itself even if you don't like the content. . Don't flipping watch it if you don't like it. Ha
I find that some people need to have a storm about them for some reason. They are the keepers of bad vibes, and they toss around the vibes to stir things up. Everything is more exciting for them when there is chaos. It is sad really, they do not seem happy. Try not to be angry with them, that just puts you into the middle of their chaos. Or, maybe some people do not like cute little pictures of pretty snow scenes at night..
Laura, who disliked CeeCee's generous gifts to us? Are they KIDDING? Let's swap cell numbers, go and beat them up! (jk--it's a late night here!) Fanna Turano
Dear Lady, I did not feel like creating ánd sending x-mas cards this year, I feeling a bit down. But your video is wonderful, made 6 cards just now, thank you very very much 💖💝😘. Love your cards
@Saskia Bongers I`m having the same problem and I`m so glad that you managed to step over your shadow. Cee Cee has this wonderful effect on us all :) I wish you all the best, Saskia!
I don’t have black watercolor paper or card stock so I used black acryla gouache for the background. Then I used gansai white metallic, white posca paint pen, and Gellyroll glitter and metallic gel pens in gold and silver. They turned out well considering I had to make the background black.
I found I had to substitute some of the supplies to make these card and they turned out well considering. I tried to buy glitter pen via the link. They are unavailable and vendors not sure when they will be back in stock.
@@hildaschrock5773 Hi Hilda, I found some sparkle pens at my local arts and crafts store (Michaels) in my area. Also have seen them in a local art supply store that caters just artists of any age and level but not so much crafty things. It has taken me awhile to find the pens I want. I think they are pretty popular, so I try to check on their stock when I can. Best of luck, have fun, joy and peace.
I did make one. Fun! I think I'll try same idea on navy blue paper. I used 110# cardstock instead of watercolor paper. Like you said, it worked fine. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed watching you paint the city scape and the comments you made. Sometimes I feel ‘stuck’ in decision making when I paint. I don’t want to be as controlled with my work. Listening to what’s on your mind while you paint helps greatly.
I am so glad that you decided to recreate these cards for your TH-cam fans. They are so nice and make a creative and unique card, unlike so many boxed cards.
Oh CC I think these are the most gorgeous, simple elegant cards ever that I have seen! I am biased because I love metallic and glitter in the simplest touches. Just beautiful! I love your work💖
I do monthly batches of "thinking of you" cards to 30+ people i care about. This will be a great way to send out beautiful cards without a ton of effort ... but WITH a ton of creative fun! Thanks for what you do, how you do it, and how consistently we can open each of your TH-cam posts & know it's gonna be worthwhile. MUCH APPRECIATION HERE !!
Loving all your Christmas card designs! I'm doing a 24hr Craftathon at the end of November for Breast Cancer charities, and I will be making some of your cards. I will share your videos too. Thank you!
Thank you for the sweet comment. I love that my videos have inspired your creativity and will be included in such a wonderful initiative. Wishing you all the best!
Thank you so much Sceecee, I really really enjoyed watching you create these stunning and gorgeous and stylish and elegant too cards. They’re like small pieces of artwork and they are unique too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Thank you for your excellent professional demonstration of watercolor and art! You're fabulous! I was wondering if you have ever tried white or metallic calligraphy ink with dip pens to replace the plastic gel pens? I am thinking of going that way. I've seen an artist recently using that method and his lines are perfect without the trouble of the gel pens. I wasn't sure, so I thought I would ask your opinion. I love the black paper!
I LOVE THESES CARDS ! It took me a week to play back my history, because of all the Christmas cards I seen, these are the most elegant, and unforgettable. This may be my last Christmas and I really wanted to make a statement that say "me" to my family and friends. They make me feel peacefully, warm and intimate as well as. Just the message I wanted to send to them. Thank you do much for this gift, without words.
I love, love these. I have learned so much from all these videos and love each one of them. People -- appreciate what you see and stop the negativity. Thank you CC for all you do.
I love your cards. I have done some this year that are simple as well. I found that doing the tree-topper was easiest to do the cross section first, then coming in from the diagonal, not quite as long as the cross section, only to the center stopping just short of it. That way I didn't get the extra ink in the center and it looked a bit cleaner. Just a thought.
CeeCee, greetings and hope you are doing well. Love these elegant cards. The shimmer and sparkle of the white, silver and gold really pop. Just lovely. Thank you also for listing supplies and links for products you use. Have a creative week. Love from Texas.
Thank you for your inspiring videos, the tutorials are easy to follow, you cards are truly beautiful and easy to recreate and all in all watching you make art in a modest and relaxed way is soothing and really appreciated in these crazy times. Sending you love and hope you are safe, wherever you may be 💜
I like to paint smaller images for cards but I always put them on smaller card bases.... Never think that they would look good on larger backgrounds like these do ! You have given me the incentive to try something different ...and I really like the gold linework frames. I have to try those too ! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, CeeCee! The cards are wonderful. I can`t believe how great the silver looks on the black cardstock. It has the perfect night snow look. What an inspiration you are.
Wow, you have a lot of comments here!!. I like these little mini Christmas tree cards! I think they might look really, really sharp on dark blue cardstock and then you could use your gold. That would look so gorgeous!
I can’t tell you how excited I get when I see you have made another video, only thing better would be if you posted more often.😉thank you for your hard work.
The finishing touches at the very end -- outlines, dots, etc - are a touch of perfection and make everything really pop and look so sleek. Thanks for the inspiration!
Once again, your peaceful and calm rendering of your art gives me the courage that I can, indeed, try! My hands shake due to a disability but I won’t let it keep me from attempting to create beauty ❤️
Thank you for inspiration 🙏🏻 I have a huge anxiety when it comes to painting for a gift, but I feel like I will be able to make cards in this simple and elegant style you’ve shown
Those are absolutely stunning!! The addition of the frame on the card base really makes that small focal piece fit better. I've got to try this! And yes you're absolutely right that don't black watercolor paper is fragile. I'm going to try some like mint tape or tape designed to be used with foil and see if that will help at all but as you said as long as it's even who's to say it wasn't a design element! 😄
CeeCee - these are just what I needed. Been feeling like life for me is just a little too chaotic and these are wonderful,, clear and yes, elegant. Thank you!

I have tons of washi tape that I never use. Can I use it instead of that artist tape to frame the watercolor paintings? 🤔 Thanks for all your beautiful creations. They inspire me so much that I have now bought paper and watercolors (especially the shiny Kramer gold and silver ones) a black fineliner and some quality brushes to start. 💗
Love these elegant cards and have some black watercolor paper in a 2.5 x 3.75 size and I have no excuse for not trying these. Your earlier tree cards inspired me to use a previously created background paper on my desk that resulted in two slimline cards ( 3.5 x 8 ). I could see the trees in the design and went from there! LOL Thanks for the encouragement since it's been more difficult to get inspired some days!
Simple and lovely, and I absolutely love the Kremer white gold watercolor. So used to you using the Kremer gold and the Kremer white gold is gorgeous on the black paper. Will be adding it to my wish list.
CeeCee, your cards came out Stunning! What fabulous idea's for us. Always, love all your detail and special touches you do on each painting. Thank you so much.
I really like your adding the outlines on the cards. All of these doodle cards are beautiful. I wonder if dark blue paper would work as well as your black paper background?
