So Ive never seen that fold over technique like that or seen ripple ice fiber used it looks great! Do you fold it over to give it extra strength with the wraps? Or because you can use less material and get a fuller skirt? Im just curious I want to try that!
You can control it with the thread dam ur building in front of the reverse tied bucktail! Look at my last video of the gamechanger 2.0. The last 2 bucktail steps on the head are reverse ties.
Hell yeah 🤟 i made this one for a small size spinner for pike! You can make those as big as you want for musky! More bucktail means more weight on your spinner tho if you want to go deeper!
Auston Anderson I took a left over wite shaft. 0.051 about 3-4 inches and fold it in half. The folded part goes into the vice and the 2 tag ends will go in the coil.

It's a fly tying technique used with dubbing for heads. Just crates bulk and looks cleaner then to tie a piece and cut it flush!
@@odmfliesvery cool! I'll have to give it a shot!
Nicly done!
Thank you 🤟
I'm getting back to tying bucktails after years and am rusty! I like the foldback technique! Please suggest how to control finished angle of the hair?
