They knew they had nothing and was expecting Karen to accept manslaughter charges. This case was done imo to keep the heat of the Albert's. But they came unstuck now the Feds are involved.

The day after the incident Colin Albert & his Best friend Allison suddenly stopped texting each other. There isn’t a single text between them for almost an entire month.
Very strange for someone who had nothing to do with the incident & allegedly wasn’t even there.

the biggest problem is his own family believes the prosecution and blames Karen ... natural for family in a sense to almost always believe prosecution if the prosecution has "found" someone ... family ends up feeling like the way to support john is to make her pay ... they get locked in their bubble .... bcit feels like their avenging his death .... and their brains just wont/can't see evidence that seems to contradict their already formed belief .....

With all due respect this photo was 4 weeks after 1/28. If the injury to his knuckles occurred on 1/ 28, his knuckles would not still be that red. There's no way that injury to his knuckles occurred on 1/28 if this photo was taken on 2/26.

They remember a lot when it’s convenient.
Colin seemed super shady- definitely not telling us the whole truth of what happened that night. All these coincidences don't make sense- he just happened to slip and put out his right knuckles to catch his fall?? No one's natural instinct is to put their fist out to catch themselves. He would have injured his elbows and wrists/palms if it was a fall. He is clearly lying and all these liar should be ashamed of covering up what really happened that fateful night.
It would be entertaining if the kids he was beefing with had some info still and reached out to the defense to prove they fought or showing Colin fighting.

The biggest players of this coverup have yet to be called to testify. Just wait more evidence will come out. The FBI is still investigating this case and have provided phone extractions and other evidence to the defense. FBI is investigating a more in-depth case regarding Albert family. For Feds to be involved it’s bigger than we are aware at this time.
This judge's bias is so infuriating
The integrity of this court is questionable. The judge seems to favor the prosecution. I would think other judges would audit each other to make sure the public doesn’t lose faith in our Justice system.
I sure hope the FBI investigates the Judge , and DA for even bringing this case to trial.
It is isn't it!!! I've been watching trials since OJ....and I have never seen such a bias judge so blatantly as this one! Amazing! This case should have been brought to trial or at least shouldn't have brought it until they were prepared and did a proper investigation! RIdiculous!
I hope the feds watching this case made note of her strong disagreement to the defense’s request to disallow testimony about alleged witness harassment because she did rule prior to trial she would not allow that prejudicial line of questioning. The defense did nothing to open the door - Lally did.

If you're going to follow true crime and COMMENT on trials then please do yourself a favor and educate yourselves. The defense attys job is to legally represent their client to ensure he/she is receiving a fair and just trial by knowing the law and applying or arguing it to the Judge to defend their client ~ to make sure their client doesn't get "railroaded"~ Also, the defense attys will attempt to "poke holes" in the DA's case to cause reasonable doubt by cross-examining the state's witnesses attempting to impeach them ( Impeach = discrediting part/ or all of the state witness' testimony and prove they lied) and perhaps choosing to call their own witnesses/ experts to prove things otherwise. However, The Defense doesn't have to "put on a case" on at all if they choose not to nor do they have to PROVE A THING!!! Geez- I'm so sick of people's ignorant comments when it's clear they don't know how our US Judicial System works! Just makes you look like a fool!😂🙄🤡💯

There are some very confused people when it comes to how our judicial system works.
RELAX. Every one is not a 3rd year law student. Most people watching this trial have already made up their minds for guilt or innocence. Most people watching this trial are not familiar with the rules of criminal law. That’s ok. People are generally expressing their concerns that they don’t feel they are hearing enough from either the defense or the prosecution. What I’m tired of hearing is people cutting down either side. We may not like their personalities but Lawyers in both sides are doing their job. Let’s let the jury decide who put forth the best case. Full disclosure. I 100% believe she is guilty.

Well you’d think the police would’ve done that. Nobody even knew Colin was at the house for almost a year because his name was intentionally kept out of it.

the police could have readily gotten a subpoena if they were motivated. I assume the defence tried through the courts and were denied .

Who doesn't open a front door when you see someone arrive at your house for the first time and see their vehicle in the driveway/front of your house, to let them know they are at the right place. Even in the cold...Instead, they just stare out the window.
Well when they pull up in your driveway you assume they know they are at the right place. You don’t just pull into a stranger’s driveway. You might pull up out front. Once you’re in the driveway pretty sure you know where you are.

The Prosecutor has done a fantastic job ! Not so much in presenting a case which proves Karen Read guilty but more so in not allowing her to defend herself. He fought tooth & nail to keep evidence out at pretrial, such as even a mention of the FBI investigation & he objects at literally every line of questioning. He even fought to prevent Read from even using the possibility that someone else could have killed John as a defense.
He’s not interested in the truth,, he’s interested in convicting Karen Read at all costs.

Have we gotten ANY information as to how JOC actually died? Where is the autopsy report? I’ve seen a few of the photos of his injuries and from what I saw, looked like he had the crap beaten out of him (upper body injuries).

He would have had to be beaten by the car soooooo bad, not to be able to walk and get help. I was hit by a car; nothing happened to my head, and I stood up right after few minutes. I imagine she has a car that goes from 0-60 in 1sec, that she hit the pedal all the way down, and at the same convenient time, he was bending, waiting for the car to hit him so hard that he passed out. BUT her car is so amazing that only got a headlight cover broken. What is that car that she had again? I want to buy it!
I’ve been waiting to,hear this evidence since the beginning of the trial. If he only shows car injuries, why isn’t that info front and center? And if it shows more than car injuries, why did they arrest KR?

Seemed like there was some bitterness about Colin and his family moving from the house to a condo. Maybe something happened that they blame JO for why they had to move.
Same reason as to why drunk or intoxicated teens (also adults) sometimes get into senseless fights..
