I have waited for 3yrs for you to react to this song! My favorite of all time. My husband left me and our baby daughter during the Vietnam war, 50yrs later, he wanted to come back to me. This song fit it so intensely for me. Unfortunately, he passed away before we could finalize his move from NY to California 😢

This song is an absolute classic, the genius Diane Warren song with her genius pop songwriting formula. And it wouldn’t be complete without Taylor’s superlative vocal. It’s gorgeous and one of my favourite songs from the 80’d. We already knew Taylor was a great pop/dance singer but this showed all her talents. Taylor Dayne always reminds me of Lisa Stansfield the singer from England. They both are women with a lot of soul in their voices. Taylor was massive when she sang these iconic hits. She is still recognized as a true superstar. She etched her place into worldwide music history with her voice for sure.
