I am in Stockholm for the first time right now, staying in Södermalm. I absolutely love Stockholm & the surroundings. I recommend everyone to come and spend some time here. The islands around Stockholm are very intersting too. And of course Södermalm... Sooo much to discover!! So much history. And beautiful nature everywhere!! And good food and coffee.... ❤☕
Having no idea which Stockolm island my great-grand parents were from I love them all and walking with you gives me a connection I'm always pleased to see another post keep on walking
Welcome back sir. Overcast and about 19 degrees here in Sydney, but wind chill makes it feel like about 14. Spring starts on 1 September here so will start to warm up and the hoodies can be put away until next winter. Will be in Norway next year but we won't have time to come back to Stockholm unfortunately. 😫 I hope you had your foot x-rayed to eliminate any kind of fracture.

Small input, Astrid Lindgren did live on Dalagatan with a view over Vasaparken, I beleive she lived their for about 50 years until she died.

We have been to London this summer. Also an impressive city to visit, but in comparison to Stockholm it is much more crowded.
Scandinavia is a lovely place. Very high quality of life. Good social system that helps people.
