Yes rent out properties to traveling professionals near the hospitals!! I’m a travel nurse and this is so huge if we can find living near the hospital!!
You should get a small RV or self contained van. Rent makes no sense.
I have an RV already :)
But I also rent one of my homes to travel nurses!

@@jenniferwise8515 I see! Yes for the most part it is cheaper! I pay around 650/mo at my campground! Many nurses I’ve talked to however are intimated by towing or would rather live in a home. Personal preference :)

Just FYI new residents start in July of every year and know where they have to move to in mid-March. Also we work over 80 hours a week and don’t have time or energy to ruin a rental.
So buy near hospitals, got it

I recently bought my second investment property and kept the original tile in the bathrooms just had them refinished instead. Spent $500/per bathroom which was not expensive compared to gutting the whole thing, so it was honestly the best thing I could've ever done! It helped save so much money and the bathrooms look real NICE! 😊

Those are some dream tenants. I have 17 properties in the Poconos, all beautiful properties that I overdid as far as "luxury" feel. My tenants are great and I don't have many issues, but them hiring a professional deep cleaner upon vacating? That's unheard of. Good for them, and for you!

When you were touring the 1st bedroom and showed the closet, I was like "yep, that is a mid modern century homes built in the 50's" We have plenty of those in my town and as a Realtor I have sold tons of them. Very well built. The only draw back is the flat roofs.

The hospital I worked at bought as many houses nearby as they could to rent to resident doctors and for future expansion. Some of them were very messy since they were used to having cooks and house keepers in their home country.
I can take or leave the painted wood ceiling, but removing the fireplace hurts my soul.
