The Snowslayer pearl is a cosmetic skin pearl that is not account bound but rather bound per dragon, so it is dropped and lost when that dragon dies, Though you can get the pearl again. It was originally a rare pearl that you needed to fight a boss to get a small chance of winning, but during the winter event it was given as a gift free to all players. Despite it saying "You cannot carry this" You did actually receive it, and you can see that in the dragon pearls menu, you can equip and unequip any skin pearls there. It was just a game bug that it told you you couldn't carry it. As for how to play the Blitz Striker, you use your bile attack by holding the LMB, And you can aim with RMB. The Blitz Strike attack (Q ability) Can only be activated when close to another player and fully charged. If you are, then you just need to wait for it to charge to full, and then press Q again to activate. Also the Blitz Striker has Venom which is why it's balanced to be unable to strike while moving on the ground, the venom being more potent as a hatchling as well. However you can bite when moving when flying. It also looks like you were on a PVE server, so there is no threat of being killed by other player dragons. You only need to worry about the AI creatures like bugs and snappers currently in PVE.
The Blitz is certainly not an easy dragon to learn to use, but you really did amazing for going in blind. I have a little over 5 min Blitz striker guide if you want to take a look so you can really get a handle on it th-cam.com/video/BOHUmdwS_fc/w-d-xo.html
