    The marble trend is so 2019. I like the results from designedbyai even better for affordable options.

    I am so glad to see grey walls go! I have an all white kitchen and LOVE it! I have no plans to add any color.

    I still like white walls. They're timeless.

    I'm interested in modernizing their living spaces. The video discussed the rise of maximalism, emphasizing bold colors and patterns that add personality to rooms. I appreciated the practical tips on incorporating these trends without breaking the bank.

    My mother installed a nature inspired full wall mural when she remodeled her home 40 years ago. At the time, I thought it was odd, but now I appreciate how beautiful it was.

      Trends have a sneaky way of coming back around if you wait long enough! :-) My childhood home had dark blue, handmade tile...now it's back in style!

    Saw a couple trends I'll never try, but good to know what's hip these days

    I’m color drenching with Antique Pewter and highlighting with plum, magenta and electric blue and red. Freaking LOVE it. The pewter reads as a neutral and makes red pop in just a cool way. I love love love it. I work in tv and can tell you this fall the color scheme will be red, electric blue and electric pink off beige or COPPER. Lots of copper. And red satin kitten heels, for some reason. I don’t like the association with “red shoes” and hollywood but I like kitten heels lol

    Are you sure you’ve got the date right in this video? All of these things were happening back in 2020 and even further back 🤔

    Absolutely love the dark, moody colors but not brave enough to do them in my own home, unfortunately.

      If you love it you should try it. I tried the trendy stuff for years and was never happy. I was nervous but figured 'its just paint'... I painted one room five times, and decided it was time to unfollow the trends, lol

    Nice list, but I had to laugh at #8: Personalized Living Spaces. As opposed to non-personalized spaces, I guess? Who on Earth would decorate a home in a way that didn't reflect the personality of the owner? Are people THAT captured by trendiness? Wait... don't answer that. Of course they are. LOL.
    Again... nice video. I'll be back!

      Thanks for watching! I think a lot of people overlook decorating their home to reflect their personality, and instead try to copy a look from a picture. The trend this year is about showcasing your interests and making your home unique, so hopefully more people will focus on this. :-)

      My mom didn't personalize her spaces. It was very weird, but it came from a narcissistic trait. As odd as that may seem, she wanted attention for "leaving it fresh for the next person because she didn't need it special". It seemed very pointless to me to have something you owned and wanted to be in line with your sense of beauty and not change it, but she would make a point of telling people that she was making the sacrifice for the next person in case they wanted it the plain color. 🙄🙄🙄😔

      @@user-pb3sb3un7n I get it. I grew up in the colorful 70s in a house with nothing but white walls. Why? Because, according to my parents, painting would negatively impact resale value one day. Crazy.

      @user-pb3sb3un7n 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@cooperwesley1536 It certainly is. When we moved, my mom still didn't paint much, except my room. And she didn't paint it the color I asked for, but that was to be expected lol. All the other rooms were that sad, icky builder white with 0 personality. It was ridiculous. Shadows aren't even pretty in builder white. She put up goose borders in the kitchen and maybe a border in her room if I remember correctly. The one in her room was actually pretty. We also had that terrifying short, green carpeting. Her couch was blue calico. HIlarious.

    Thanks for the video. What are the green and blue colours in the first 2 monochromatic rooms, please? I have an 1860 house which is painted baby poo yellow (every wall) and I want to change that either of these colours would be great in my living room and den. Thanks.

    It is not even design. It is mostly decoration. If you want to show a design of the room you should show it without any decor and even furniture and explain what material you are using, how you are using. Lights layout. Show us new elements such as stretched ceiling as an example which is already in Europe for 20 years and here is still novelty.
