    Had a thought. If you purchased 2 frames you would have 2 pieces of glass. Put the picture between the glass panes and you would then not see the tape on the back of the picture.

    I have used gorilla silicone and glued glass into frame with it, I'm thinking of experimenting with seaglass pictures, I think it will work well.

    I just mounted a picture between two pieces of glass. I had no backing so I used tape to out line where the pic goes...good work..

    What kind of double sided tape did you used? Transparent?

  • @kellymalone3195
    @kellymalone3195 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What if you bought two frames and used the glass from one frame as the back of the second frame? If you did that you could put the tape on the back of the picture.

    • @Ettore

    You did a great job! A quick question: the frame you bought is glass or acrylic? Do you think acrylic will be okay? I have a big frame but it is acrylic not glass.

    • @Ettore
      @Ettore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine are glass but acrylic should work!

    Maybe doing hot glue in combination with a stronger glue like silicone glue or super glue would help, that way you get the quick drying from the hot glue and the strength of the other glue

    Can acrylic painting be put behind glass??

    • @Ettore
      @Ettore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      instead of the picture? I'm sure, but you'll probably have to find a stronger adhesive, I think it would be a little too heavy for the double sided tape

    Thank you for the detailed tutorial. I have just one question, how long did it take you? Not the shopping and stuff, but assembling the frame. I am not handy at all, just saying

    • @Ettore
      @Ettore  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This could be done in 10 minutes. Maybe 15 if you're being extra careful about measurements!

    Print directly against the glass is the worst thing you can do to a print.
