This brings back memories of a time when we watched Little House On The Prairie and I remember a simpler time, since I was only a child. The show portrayed virtue and wholesomeness that we all want to believe when we’re little - and we try to instill in our own families as we grow up. I’m sure your journals will be a treasure for those who get them.
These are so beautiful and inspired -- I literally have a tear in my eyes, That has never happened to me in all my years of watching art tutorials/ art-sharing videos! You are greatly gifted, and a heartfelt thank you for sharing.

What a wonderful experience to see what you did with these books of my youth. My mother read them to me when I was perhaps 8. I'm 72 now and I have such fond memories of all the books. I still have my well loved set. Your journals are stunning and I'll bet the Wilder girls would have loved them!

So beautiful. My favorite books as a child. I wish my grandchildren would read them and realize how lucky they are to have so many advantages these days. Sixty years ago, as my teacher read them to us, I was stunned with the many things Laura and her family had to go through. Kids today might find the books outdated but the lessons they teach are still important. I agree. Your journals are so beautiful that I cannot find words awesome enough to describe them. Growing up I went to a one room country school and each day after lunch the teacher would read us a chapter of Little House. She was such a good reader that you could picture each thing in your mind. That is one of my favorite childhood memories. I think you've done a great job with your journals. TFS.

They say that if you want something done, ask a busy person to do it! I don't know where you find the time to complete these works of art Liz! This series, like all your others, is spectacular. We still watch the series on tv while cooking supper and enjoy that respite of family life/love instead of the awful things on the news right now. Happy gardening!

I know they are spoken for but I would love to own one of these, not to use but just to admire. I do make journals so you have inspired me with several ideas.
