I remember when we had cable and on channel 99 the radar and weather forecast played 24/7 playing music and this song was my favorite lol! I was so surprised when I actually found this on TH-cam, not to mention excited, too!! Thanks Intelliguy!!
I think it is only available through the cd's. The guy's name is Trammell Starks. He has a three-cd set of 39 songs from the Weather Channel that he sells. This song is among them. You can find his address and email on most Weather Channel forum sites.
Trammell Starks sells a 3-cd set of 39 songs that were and are featured on Weatherscan. I have them and it is a good buy. Especially when you get to hear the songs without the voice in the background.
It probably is. I never have looked at the original names to any of these songs. I like to name them myself. I have always done this and continue to do it today. If you can direct me to a place that I can hear the song, I can tell you for sure if it is on there.
Thanks Intelliguy. By the way, I am looking forward to a new weatherscan loop coming out. It has been a year and a half since the current one was put up. I want new music!
is there anyway u can get all the songs in a row or parts to play in order like they did,cuz theres actually 6 or 7 more songs they play that i remember, and no one has any of those songs on their weatherscan videos.
I know! This is really starting to suck! Two years is quite long enough. I wish the playlist would be changed. I sure could use some different music on Weatherscan.
Are you getting angry about a song title? Chill out buddy! A lot of people rename the songs on weatherscan, especially the production music. We sometimes share the names of the particular songs with each other. Stop being the Weatherscan Police and lighten up a bit! It's a free country zach.
First saw/heard this when I was 16 years old 12 years ago. This is still one of my favorite songs from Trammell. Thanks for the upload.

i missed this song
Oh, how much I miss this version, I used to sleep with Weatherscan on back in those days, lol. Thank goodness we have an emulator now.

I really wish I recorded more clips of this. I initially recorded this for the song, not for the graphics.
At this time (2002) there were 15 Trammell Starks songs playing in a continuous loop. This song on my list is track #7 and titled "Wings."

I miss this version of WxScan. This is how I discovered Trammell and these graphics. I called it "Weather Channel2" back then.
I miss this music
"I like to name the songs myself!" Oh lordy.
In most headends, Weatherscan is only on digtal cable.
Yep. It was like that until April 2005.
The Trammel Starks title is correct. I have re-titled every song on the loop and never use the Starks titles.
Great footage!
Your headend only had the LF package during that time.
wow its been long since Wxscan XL 2G. always loved watching it. still watch TWC. And this is a good song. wish i could find it somewhere

I agree with you.
Weatherscan was around since 1999.
20 years of weatherscan!! 1999-2019
I know. The song is Good Times.

iv'e heard that song the other day when the weather channel had one of their trammel starks outage
Geesh, it's been two years since they last changed Weatherscan's playlist and STILL no new playlist.
Weatherscan XL always did that when it would switch to the next frame.
By the way my title for the song on this clip is "Wings."
I only have one song from that playlist. Sorry
yea same here
i liked weatherscan better when it was like this
I;ve had cable until 2003
can you give me some of them?
I know. They sure are taking their time aren't they? lol.
You had cable? When did you switch to satellite TV?
