- Awhile back I wanted to make some surface mount PCB's at home so I upgraded a cheap T-962 reflow oven! The process involves removing masking tape from the oven, applying new Kapton tape, removing paint from the chassis to properly ground the device, replacing the loud and insufficient cooling fan, and upgrading the firmware. Links below to the instructions I followed as well as the supplies I used.
Hope you give this project a try! Thanks for watching!

Have you tried making surface mount PCB's at home? Let me know below how it turned out!
Hi Kitty! I love seeing Mr.M. So much tape!so many machine guts! I loved this just for the sounds. It’s like PCB mukbang
Thanks Tina!
It's a great little oven
I was surprised actually how well it worked after the upgrade!
FYI, the drawer has little clips on the side that allow it to easily be pulled out... One side you push down, the other you push up, as the rails are mirrored.
I’m just thinking about how much better this video would be if you weren’t mute I’m sorry for you😢
Thumbs down because you didn't really say anything about what you were doing. DUH How are we supposed to know what you're doing?
