Dawson has become my favorite, I'm same size as him about and to see him handle it the way he does makes me know I can do it.... I get alot of slack because of my size, always have to prove that I can.....
Size doesn’t matter bro! The sleds are ridden by technique and weight transfer/throttle control! You got this Homie! Just because you’re small doesn’t mean you can’t do it! Small packages come in dynamite 🧨💪💪💪
14:50 - always wear your tether when starting up your sled folks!! Can't believe Polaris shipped AXYS RMKs without a factory tether until 2022 in the Matryx.
I find myself side hilling in my chair, leaning and anticipating your line. Here in Eagle County, CO we half half the snow you do and only the very brave or those with an unlimited back stock of A-arms, are ripping.
I can't wait till you get your skidoo! Never been brand loyal but from last years skidoo, i can't wait for what you get this year! Maybe Catalyst Next Year?!
This is my favorite zone! .. awesome riding you guys, love watching the early season technicalities 😂 So much fun terrain in there. I'm sure you know, but you can access all that alpine on the east side of the creek that you were looking at! You can also drop into some super gnarly drainages on the back side of the hill at the end creek you come in on! I think you'd love it in there! Going to try exploring a little north of this in a couple days.. maybe see you out there!! Happy riding man thanks for the videos!!!
@MuskokaFreerider yeah the old old mine road is hard to follow under the snow when you get back! But you can drop back there... the drainages are gnarlyyy. Only done it late spring on hero snow but it would be sick to punch in this season. I just explored just up the power line (first left on the FSR) and to the top yesterday.. pretty fun exploring back there. The history of the mining is super cool too. We should explore some closures zones man! Need more riding buddies our age! 😂🤙
you guys need 2 grams heavier weights in those boosts, they should be running rpms like 8200-8400, the reason why it does that weird bog is it smacks the rev limiter and wil bog or drop a cylinder
I really like your channel and watching you ride, however the thing that I really loved was watching you throw that 155 g5 around last year. You were always laughing with the skis in the air! 🤙
You can sure tell the difference between stock kill switches and munster throttle controls. Nvr seen a problem last season after you switched up your controls Matt. So i would think soon your gonna get a box full of goodies and pimp the 165 out? Great day of riding you guys and thank you for my morning entertainment to enjoy my coffee. Cheers 🍻
Makes for a pretty good day when I sit down at my desk with a coffee and you upload :) FINALLY POW!!!!!! Loving this early season riding. Another Great Video Matt!
Yeah, tried that stuck throttle myself on a Polaris, started it and sent it straight into my uncles car. It was 23 years ago and on a 88 Indy Trail, but still😂 Lynx 49 Ranger now
I often say whenever watching your vids “ that looks fun, I wish I was there.” Not this one for this 58 year old. That started out gnarly. You kids enjoy that new iron
That time of the year. if you Think it might be a stump it definitely is. great content. unfortunately I keep spilling my coffee when I try to get here on edge here in my house. 🙃
Early season log junkyard riding sure wears a guy out eh and those low dead stubby branches hurt! I said “ouch” a split second before you did lol Thanks again for your vids
No easing into the season eh 🤦♂️😂🤣. You guys are gonna be so smoked after that . But you’ll be fit for the whole rest of the season after a couple more wild rides like this 😝👌. Kick ass video as always 🤙
hey mate just whana know howe longe dose your motors run i have a 850 rmk pro stock 2020 mod . so how long betven every rebuild. love your videos i so whana learn to rid like you do ... :)
Polaris seem like they pull insanely quick to rpm then just hang at that rpm. The doo seems like it uses more of the rpm band where the Polaris is just let it sing. Honestly if I could get a new sled it’d be a doo. Always been a Polaris guy but I think I’d go 146 na. Just fun playful light. Polaris quality doesn’t seem to be what it used to be.
so im thinking about getting back into moutanin sleding in the backwoods, its been about 8 years is my last ride, i have been trail rideing and stuff like that here and their but i would like to know what are the best options out their for me to look at im 6 foot 1, 300 pounds so i need somthing with the HP and a suspension that can handel my weight or do i just get stronger springs and have the shock re-valved. also big wide track so i just dont sink in the snow
The Polaris bog and Polaris throttle issues are silly. I wonder what will blow up first on it this year. Yee haw lets ride but that side hill loop is out of my pay grade!
@@208SledHead To me it is a sad fact that both the major manufacturers of snowmobiles are using their customer base to R & D their sleds now. I think that Polaris is way worse but both are bad. But also the consumers have fed that monster by wanting this evolution.
Love to see you back out on a Polaris boost but it's unfortunate to see that you are experiencing the bogging issues that for what ever reason plague the Polaris's.... Either way glad to see you out riding and making content for us all to enjoy!

@@208SledHead it definitely happens to all the manufactures….. doesn’t it! I’m curious to see what’s going to happen with this new arctic cat stuff… time will tell!😬
that was the boulder cabin, I think the guy at Frisby actually made out not bad considering how far it went wide open, not sure on his motor tho. The new snow depth sign at boulder looks like it should hold up a bit better.
Patiently waiting to see a Catalyst yet... The frozen throttle on a Polaris... it ain't a Polaris if there isn't something that can start of fire/cause death
Must be interesting swapping from thumb to finger throttle. Love to see there’s snow somewhere out there. Still waiting in northern Maine. Had 8” but got 1-2” of rain last weekend and were forecasted for more rain😢

I am so excited to watch
New sled RIPS!! Maybe your downhill will be easier on the Poo when you get your finger throttle installed!
It’s so weird being an adult and getting excited seeing you posted a video!
Absolutely love the Drone shots

thumbgas on the new polaris? Thought that was the first thing you swapped
Seems like the Boost is bogging a good bit!
Rpm spike because clutching is too light. So it cuts a cylinder

Why does every polaris boost sound like they hit the rev limiter on full throttle?
Probably because they either need to add or remove some weights in the clutch.
