@Steviemac05 I love it when he says "pulled that one a little bit" and the ball is two holes over to the left, hard to watch now, managed 5 minutes of this before leaving (3 minutes of that was in the comments lol)
Also, I am surprised Rick has held onto the Cobra Dark Speed... ever since speed training with Bryson he has focused so much on club speed and pure distance but he has given up SO much accuracy as a result. Bring back the PING G425 it served so much better for his tee shots.
I like the editing, because when they will make the putt, we get a bit of music to say sth good is about to happen. Guy was really spot on with the drives.
I just LOVE watching scamble! Even if you didnt play your best it looked like you had way more fun than grinding on your own through the wind and not easy conditions. I grew up never really playing such formats but its such a fun way of playing. Would love to see more of it, maybe even a four scramble with Iona and James Robinson :)
Speith didn't hit it onto the driving range on 13. He hit it up the dunes and took an unplayable back in line with the point his ball was, which took him onto the range. He then got relief from the tour trucks and hit a belta back over. I heard from a member that the practice ground is now out of bounds. If it happened again it would be back to the tee or 2 club lengths, back in line would still be in the rough.
One of the reasons why I love golf is a enjoy the grind of trying to get better, even if that means having a bad day of hitting, putting, whatever. Which is also why I like watching your content for the break 75’s. Not to put you all down at all, but it reminds me that not everyone is like Rory or Scotty. And even during scrambles, golf is just hard. Regardless of whether you break 75 or have a hard time breaking 80, I look forward to your content every week. Don’t listen to those keyboard crusaders who have negative things to say.
Such an amazing golf course, and just 30 minutes from my house! Very underrated, definitely worthy of the Open in a couple of years time. The changes will make it even tougher to play. Nice one Rick! 👏
As always I am loving your content and the entertainment value and I must say that I have been catching up on your previous videos and Bryson with you fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
8:44 when guy takes his approach shot there’s clearly one divot then the next shot at 8:55 when Rick takes his approach shot, there is clearly an extra divot …. Clearly taking multiple shots per spot and then picking the best one after editing.
@@blue24563 no you’re absolutely right. This is the first time I’ve seen it stand out so blatantly though, and I wasn’t even looking. I just happened to notice it.

and I'll say this - Guy actually has a way higher ceiling than Rick if he ever took himself and his golf just a little more seriously. Much better mechanics to his swing in general and his short game is light years better.
I’m gonna rank that shave a solid +51 over par. Also really questioning Rick’s sense of judgement leaving the barber in that state… Also, note to the editor: whenever the final edit feels good, go back and cut 50% of the screen time/audio from Guy and you have a good product.

Rick why are you playing the 2nd shot on the 5th hole in Guy's Divot? You get at least like 6inches from where he hit the ball. Some golf clubs let you play within a club length of the chosen shot. Either way, you don't have to play in his divot.
Rick should have Guy caddie for him at events. Rick tends to beat himself up a bit when things don't go well, Guy would be that happy voice cheering him on. You can't be mad at golf when Guy is with you 😂
The new holes look really good. I do remember that the two par3s on the back nine (12 & 14) were quite similar looking, but the old 5th was an adventure.
