- Learn how to extract part of the contents of a cell in Excel. One way to do this is by using two functions in one formula: LEFT and FIND. It's easier than it might sound. Watch this video to find out how to do it! ***Support Technology for Teachers and Students on Patreon***: / technologyforteachersa... Hi what formula should I use if I have Spencer, Caroline A in cell A1 and I want to get Tanwar, Vaishali in cell B1. I basically want to remove the middle name.
Hello
I just caught your video on the left find formula. I have been trying to figure out how to do this. I wrote the formula just like you have it and a error pop up came up asking if I was trying to write a formula. This is the trouo8ble I have been having with this formula. Any help fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Can I have a download from the complete working sheet, because this won't working in the Dutch translation ...
Where is the spreadsheet? Can we download it?
The link for the practice spreadsheet is in the video's description. I'll include it here too: bit.ly/EXCELleftfind You can just copy that link, and paste it into your browser, and go to the link, and the spreadsheet should automatically download to your computer.
Should have shown how to remove it from the A2 cell then leaving only the song name.
What about right
