Excel has a built-in formula the works as Left(find).
It's called "textbefore"

I just caught your video on the left find formula. I have been trying to figure out how to do this. I wrote the formula just like you have it and a error pop up came up asking if I was trying to write a formula. This is the trouo8ble I have been having with this formula.
