I like RPM but please do the contrary of what he is doing! I remember that he was holding ETH when price was 4k and i selled all and now he is selling kaspa when you have to buy and hold, i know that he has good intentions but when is technical analysis he is lacking of that knowledge! kaspa technically speaking is going for the 0.786 fibo that is 0.01 and is going to do a rally for the 0.033 to 0.036 range the bad scenery the good scenary is a higher high in a few months maybe less so for me sell at 0.013 is a big mistake you only have to wait a few weeks i can get the taxes but just sell to sell in a random place is a newbie mistake
If your point is that selling your coin doesn’t move the market than you failed to prove that because the second you sold you turned that green candle into a pancake. That matters a lot especially to the bot algos trading.

If im understanding supply and demand why dont you miners just hold the coins and sell at a higher price instead of selling now with less profit more demand to hold and sell supply to buy which equals price increase maybe im missing something

Nice, Iceriver KS2 is about $32K depending on tax. Then you sold about 10K in 1 month, not bad not bad. Then have to calculate taxes to your government, then electric cost, maintenance, pretty sweet.
I am keeping mine, USA puts you in a lower bracket after a year of HODL. Maybe it will level out by then, if not it can sit with the other 💩 I have accumulated over the years 😅

Tax laws in crypto are so unfair. In farming, grain harvested is not taxed on income until its sold. It’s considered inventory while holding. The same needs to happen with crypto.
Don't feel bad about selling. The point of mining is to support the network and get paid for providing that service... It is not the job of miners to prop up the price for traders and network participants.
It's your freedom to buy or sell whenever you feel right. Sure, all buys and sells affect the market up or down, but then again you can't ask everyone to not sell when you sell, or everyone not buy when you want to buy. Everyone else has the same freedom also.

As far as i know you only need to pay tax if you selling it. May be in Canada its diffirent and i respect that but how do they know if you dont tell them ? your keys your crypto, the entire idea of crypto currecy is not involving goverment and their doggy way of taxing. Strange. its wierd that there is a law in tax in canada it only cares the value of the coin when its hit to your wallet. But that means your wallet is exposed to the government. you may as well give them your keys just like your bank does.
The ultimate goal is once you do sell into Cash, to your bank account, it's all auditable. The tax man is going to ask where did that initially come from? from mining of course and so you have to prove and show that cost basis and when you received those coins to your own wallet.

I do the same for any and all new miners I purchased except I don’t sell to fiat I swap to BTC or USDC, whatever the amount in BTC coins I spent to purchase the miner, I always swap daily earning to BTC until I gain all my initial BTC spent back! then after that I hodle the native coin of the miner. in the US depending on your Business type not the amount your business earn, you have to pay quarterly or annually; in my case/state annually and I used funds from what I work (not mine) to pay all my taxes.
Don't feel too bad about your decision, rpm. I know it's hard for you, especially you just build new mining facility, ofc you'll be low on cash. You can allways buy kaspa in the future. Your kaspa content help me find my way back to mining. I mined kaspa since jan, and always swing it whenever bad things happen and happen to accum bigger volume from swing.
