This drive looks like such an incredible example of how much fun dunes can be - given the correct equipment. Driving around - the banter between you two is also fantastic. "If you're using literal breadcrumbs to find your way out of here" - "you're toast"! Pre-collision assist - at least it still let you drive - having enough fun to concern the truck sensors... Awesome!
It would be nice if someone mentioned where these dunes are. As a west coast former (serious) Dunite, I have no clue. Yeah I can look it up. But Pia on cell. Just state would be nice. PS I rolled a 4x4 Ford down a dune, but it was because I got cocky and parked there.
Oh man we usually leave coordinates to our destinations. Totally forgot on this one. Thanks for the reminder! Yeah these dunes are in St. Anthony Idaho. And yes you can’t get cocky in sand. The sand owns you and only gives you grace if you show it respect 🙌 Thanks for the comment!
Now, stop at the bottom and see if you can make it without the running start :P If you make that, pull 10 ft further up and try again. Repeat as necessary haha
? How do you keep your trucks looking so good after you beat the snot out of them, Do you have PPF on them or how is it that they look so good, I bet you have stunt doubles?🤪
Well, having my curtain air bags deploy at the dunes from driving in sand mode in my G2 I might have to say he doesn’t know first hand 🙌 Yep, I had to find the truth to that first hand 😂
@@bobbyt7444that would be interesting to know. I did the dunes for years in my G2 in Baja mode then one day I forgot to put it in Baja and bang the bags scared the crap out of me doing the same thing just not in Baja mode. Either way I just make sure it’s in Baja 😂
@@Story_Teller_Everyone exactly! But the best part is in a truck you have cup holders with a cold drink, cooled seats and A/C and no dust or sand blowing in your face 😂🙌🙌
@@sterlingswildwest Yeah I love desert running mine. I don’t do anything big in the dunes though, too scared of totaling it. I just rent one of the toys every time ha. Not as bad though if you have someone to follow so you can see how their truck reacts and the line they’re taking.
Finally someone using this beautiful truck for its purpose!
Right? Yes and always! 😂
I was pinching it the entire time watching you drive those dunes. I can't wait to get out there!!
Come on out! These are awesome dunes. Next stop, Dubai 😂
Yall deserve a sponsorship from Ford performance!
Right? 😂🙌

Thank you so much for the kind words! Just made my day! Have you done the dunes before?
That was awesome! Geez, it looked like a roller coaster ride. I could feel the tickle in my gut watching you.
It was so much fun! Ash had a tickled gut doing it 🙌
I had fun in my Raptor at Saint Anthony. Great dunes
That’s awesome. Sold my ATVs as soon as I learned I could do the dunes in the air conditioning 😂
I’ve always wanted to visit the dunes! Looks like so much fun!
Come on out! They are awesome!

Haha right? I think inertia plays a bit of a roll here 😂
Look how @wheels_kingdom drive in sand duns, with I6 nissan
Oh heck yeah I could watch these guys all day! Wish we had dunes like that here 🙌
in saudi arabia we do this as a warm up... but hey safty is everything right 😁
@@sarifarsitv4974 that’s awesome, the dunes there are on another level!

😂😂 they are stun double trucks 😂😂 actually it’s just how the makeup makes them look in camera 🙌 thanks man!
Bro, you have the true Block wheels on that raptor drop that PSI to like five or eight
Wow good eye! I was at 7lbs exactly! 🙌
Awwwwwwhooo Geeeeezzzzz
Exactly! 🙌
When in doubt, throttle out. Also, who were your raving fans at the top of the hill?
You know how that saying goes! They were friends who were camping there. It was fun to see them all!
5 months ago I bought S650 Mustang, now i want Raptor 😀
@@theking1411a you deserve one! And not any old one, one with a Mustang engine in it 😂🙌
Let me know when you come to SoCal. So we can do a Sterling Raptor run. 😂
Sounds so fun! Love playing in so cal!
hey there im the 6th sterling :)
Hey! Awesome! 🙌
Are they both raptorR? Or is one a R and the other a 37?
The Orange is not R
The green one is and R and the orange is an 801A package with 37s 🙌 and both have made it up CC
"Dumb down airbag" is a myth, I asked Donny, the instructor at Raptor Assault and he confirmed this.

@@sterlingswildwest I wonder if that is a Gen 2 thing. My question to the Donny was specifically on the 23 Raptor R.

Ripping around in the dunes in rzr or can am is nothing. Doing it in any full size vehicle way scarier.
