Nissan Titan Rear Differential Replacement (2004-2015)

- In This video I show the parts and tools necessary to replace a Rear differential a Nissan titan years 2004 to 2015. This truck was towed in because the ring and pinion gears were broken. Overall the job is a little involved however there are a couple tricks I show along the way to make the job easy. If you have a four-wheel-drive truck remember to replace the differential with the same gear ratio as the one that is currently installed in your truck. 2.97 and 3.36 and the two gear ratios used in these trucks from the factory. Aaron shop came to my house and replaced my driver side exhaust manifold I did the passenger side (easier) It has been about two years and works perfectly. Always use OEM gaskets. Thank you Aaron and your team.

great video. how do you find out the correct ratio for your truck. Im currently changing my 2005 Nissan Armada. trying to find out which one to look for
I am curious, Is the replacement axle from a two wheel drive truck. The diff cover and the brake lines are different between 2wd and 4WD as well as a parking brake piece I believe??
This specific model of Nissan Titan se crew cab imo is the nicest looking version on the market. That's why i own the exact same truck, same color, but i have the tube running boards that are chrome with black steps. They go nicely with the chrome front end and black paint. The only complaint I have with this truck is how they made the front end, it's just too small for the rest of the truck, i wish I could customize the fenders and raise them to the same height as the hood and round them over instead of the dropoff and flared look. Anyone else hate the front end of the titan from the side view?

Mine went out and I got an estimate of 2700 do this sound fair
$1900 is the best price I found on a replacement axle assembly for a 4WD 3.36 ratio. With labor that sounds reasonable.
Your title is misleading guy this is a axle replacement
Most of his videos have been pretty helpful but this was a clickbait title. I'm not sure he meant to but I just wasted 11 min before I realized he wasn't replacing the actual differential. Lol
I had my seal blow in my 05 titan. The drive shaft disconnected and started dragging on the ground. Needless to say, I pulled over right away 😅
