Great video i remember these tower blocks!! Used to go past on the motorway. I was always convinced there was more empty ones and at 4.10 you have proven me right!
They must of been empty for years as they were always in darkness when i used to go past in the car as a kid! Would of been great refurbished as the views are brilliant but being a tower block in Liverpool most likely to get demolished. The local scallys must of loved playing in them when they were empty!
Suppose your right, way to far out for anyone to buy, not much around Croxteth back then appealing wise! no pubs, anything!! Think i counted there are about 52 Tower blocks left in Liverpool virtually all have been refurbished, quite the part now especially towards the city centre and around Sefton Park! Langholme Heights wa sa strange one for knocking down it was in a decent state and fully occupied, the land has remained derelict since, bit of a waste!
@@BillyBigTop Ye, short term thinking. I've lived in a couple of high rises, great views, no balls bouncing off yer side wall and no chippy leaflets or people knocking trying to sell crap. Some of the most expensive real estate in the world is high rise, only difference is the build quality and maintenance.
