The original dance of royal palace. In case people are curious the difference between Thai royal dance and Cambodian royal dance, well they aint really different. They're 99% the same and this is because Thai people taught Thai cultures to Cambodian people. Many Cambodian kinds and royalties were educated in Thailand. As a result, they brought back Thai cultures to Cambodia. One of the Cambodian kings who was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to learn from Siam was king Sisowath of Cambodia.
Actually the other way around. Khmers inspired Siams for a 1000 years in history. Apsara dance was created during Angkorian times. The way Thais dance is the old way khmer use to dance. We have evolved from this old style to something that is uniquely khmer. And Khmers taught Khmers how to dance like that. Not Siam.

Also, Thailand colonized Cambodia for hundreds of years. Even Sisowath of Cambodia, the king of Cambodia, eve was educated in Siam (Thailand today). Exaggerating. Was like a hundred years at most. It was a tug-a-war between Vietnam during that time as well. Siams learned a lot from khmer during the colonization and the 1000 years prior to the colonization.
This is ALL the result of Khmer influence. The origins of the Thai (Tai-Kadai) are from Southern China. Thailand would not have this art of ballet if the Khmer were not present in their country.

You’re right. A lot of Ayuthaya’s culture was inspired by Angkorian Khmer culture and modified. Then some dances were brought back to Cambodia, modified as Siamese dances, but the cultural roots will always remain Khmer

Khmer has already collapsed. Got Thailand to help restore If the Thai people didn't help the Khmers, there wouldn't be this kind of culture.
Khmers come to the country to ask for work such as construction work. No one has any knowledge of dancing arts.
