Oh wow, I haven't seen a ceramic wash foam up like that, especially one that seems to have actual Si02 properties. Very impressive. Love that it has decent cleaning capabilities, as well.
I tried this shampoo several times on 3 different cars in a bucket from 3-4oz with 4 gallons of water. Slick and smells fine. It doesn’t make the surface hydrophobic at all. If you want the latter you will be disappointed. I think what you are seeing is your previous protection/coating and not the car wash adding to it.
This category of products is really made for owners with ceramic coating or protection already if you have no protection this wont add a wash and wax effect
It’s the best foaming ceramic soap that you have demo here I watch all your vids this is a winner for sure!! And it actually does clean too good vid phil
yeah i first tried this last year in my black friday video and it impressed me enough that i bought more and tried it over and over and felt it was worth showing on here since these ceramic graphene soaps are so heavily marketed. I just like the fact i got thick foam with this which is very hard with other brands in this segment. definitely try a bottle out you will like it.
Jay Leno’s Garage products are made by Recochem/B and B blending/Adam’s. They may not be allowed to sell you that specific formulation but they private label for 90% of the brands out there.
it seems 99% of the brands in the US all use the same sources except niche brands like ours where we do things a bit differently. Good to know but non the less this soap is a winner all around.
@@autofanaticcars There’s a good video on Chicago Auto Pros channel where they talk with the guy that developed the product line with Jay. The episode is called “are jay leno ‘s detailing products any good”. It’s a pretty interesting.
I was walking down the aisle of car detailing products this morning after buying toilet paper and cutting corners on groceries, I spotted a $15 price on Ceramic car wash. Had not seen any reviews of it. Slipped it in the with groceries and picked up a can Stoner window cleaner and a new window mop kit. Old one’s handle broke. After watching this, I am confident this ceramic wash will save me some money.
Only use Jay Leno products you know it works when 3 different detailers at the dealership are asking WHAT ARE YOU PUTTING ON YOU PAINT TO GET A SHINE LIKE THAT.
The real deal is that you can now get 48 oz of this stuff for $15 at Walmart, instead if 16 oz for $15. Hope the quality is the same, but it looks the same at least.
I walked by the Jay Leno stuff in my local Walmart all the time, but since I never heard any feedback, I had no idea of the quality. I wasnt sure if I should take it as a serious product, or some endorsed nonsense, but now that it's been out for a little bit, I keep hearing good feedback on most of his stuff. I juat generally don't like these all-in-one type products...I find that for best results its usually better to go with a more specialized product. But I can see the appeal, if you don't want to spend extra time and money
best cannon hands down forget filling that silly MTM with the tiny neck it drives me insane how they designed it so backwards and still never corrected it.
ha ha maybe but it is really hard to show the dirt on a metallic black car in the sun but when I am in the drivers seat you could see the layers of dirty and dust all over it on the hood.
Tried it after watching this video the first time, I think I saw 1 or 2 bottles left at my local Walmart.. I’m taking stock! This product has exceeded my expectations! Curious to know if applying wax would be ok after the wash, if anyone know please reply Thanks!
thanks for sharing your feedback this is a solid product for as soap for sure. You can wax after a wash just make sure the paint is not rough with surface contaminants otherwise safely clay to remove them and or polish the paint out first
I bought this ceramic soap and have used it to hand wash my truck and car. There’s a ton of suds in the bucket and plenty of suds when applied on my vehicles. I’m going to try to use it in a foam cannon. Do I have to dilute it? The velocity is very thick.

I have tried Ethos i thought it was good but after I tried the Jay Lenos Ceramic this in my opinion is the absolute best ceramic soap in this category. gotta try a bottle it really impressed me.
horrible i have tried every single retail and professional ceramic marketed soap and this jay leno one performs the best, smells the best and works really nicely.
tried that one this seems to work better and produce much thicker foam. Also tried the Carpro stuff as well. It is very hard to chemically make a soap produce thick foam and have enough si02 polymers in it to leave a layer of protection. some work but lack foam output some foam well and lack protection it seems.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Adam's said their ceramic shampoo isn't supposed to leave protection but it's just a degreasing shampoo to clean a ceramic coated car. Kinda weird.
Have you ever tested the armour all ceramic wash? I was surprised by it I'm not saying it's the best just saying was surprised with results the foaming wasn't the best
yes way back I tried that with the Mothers, Meguairs , Turtle Wax and all major retail brands. Still feel this blend of soap sold by Lenos works awesome, foams outstanding and smells amazing. Definitely check it out.
Hi do you know I got that solo foam spray and when I ordered it supposed to come with air nozzle but it didn’t, do you think they don’t do them anymore, more hassle to do by hand
I am confused as to why you said you cannot get those results with a 80 dollar pressure washer? I also maintain my car, have a ceramic coating on it and trust me I am meticulous.
very unlikely to get the same thick foam output of a cheap pressure washer that was the point i wanted to address because I do demos with my professional unit and people complain they do not get the same thick foam results that is all and i like to be transparent to whomever watches this. the GPM means quite a bit to foam output. But if you want to do touch free washes then this soap will work awesome for you since you have a ceramic coating and are meticulous in your care. if you try it please report back on your results to share with all of us here.
my neighbor who now professionally details cars has a Sunjoe and Greenworks and tried everything and his foam is always runny, been preaching to him for a while to invest in a pro unit some have made cheaper units perform exceptional and others out there struggle it seems. Also with these polymer rich soap formulas it is even more difficult to get mega thick foam when compared to a conventional super concentrated snow foam without the polymers blended in.

Unfortunately I listened to you and bought this crap. I tried it out on 1/2 the hood of my work van that has never been treated with anything. Followed the directions to the letter. Nothing… A day later the Leno side and the side that was only rinsed with water look the same. No cleaner, no shinier, no beading!
