Good stuff Sam! Let’s us know about your user experience when you get it up and running! So far so good after several weeks in California! It’s performed perfectly and better than expected. Thanks for watching and Good luck!

About 1500 Starlink satellites in orbit as of today.

Since the satellites are always in motion, does the dish ever move once it's locked onto a signal from the satellites? Also, when you were talking after you finished installing the dish, I thought I saw two satellite dishes next to each other, was one of them your previous fixed wireless antenna, or was that part of the house?

I personally can't see the Dish moving as it's locked on but I can only assume that the two stepper motors in the Dish continue to move and track the Satellites as they pass over head. When it disconnects and reconnects satellites you can easily see it move position. Yes the two dishes seen in the video are DirecTV and the wireless receiver for the line-of-site provider mounted on the old HughesNet dish bracket.

witch way is the dish facing north, east ,west, south?

For this installation the StarLink Dish is generally in the North-East direction. The motorized dish is constantly moving its Azimuth in order to track different satellites as they pass overhead. If you are interested in determining Dish placement at your location please download the StarLink App and click on the "Check for Obstructions" option, super simple!

When do you think starlink will end beta and be available to available?

The StarLink web site shows you can still sign up for a limited number of User’s per coverage area which indicates they are still sending out units for Beta Testing. I believe Musk tweeted a few weeks back that they would be in Production by mid-summer... So far Bandwidth/Low Latency is beating expectations here in the Santa Ynez Valley
