Thank you so much for sharing hun. I'm not really into that. But you made a very interesting video. And if I was into it that card would be an awesome tool!

Thank you so much for posting this! I've been meaning to get into petit point and it's so intimidating! This is an immense help. :)

So pleased I found your video(s) - great help as I'm new to Petit Point. Would you recommend/ do you use a parking method for complex designs and, if so, I presume it would work as per cross stitch? Thanks

Hi Mark! I wouldn’t “park” with petit point because it would make the stitches that you’re carrying under puffier than the surrounding stitches, if that makes sense. I’ve tried carrying along the back, but then I had issues where the thread would get caught up in the needle and get shredded or generally make a mess. Plus with advanced patterns where there are many colours, it can be treacherous making sure to remember which symbol/colour is actually hanging back there. I’ve also had an issue where I tried to do a colour over a larger area and then I made a counting error and had to rip out. I would recommend just working an area (like a cm square) of a colour, then finishing the thread at the back and going on to the next colour in that area. Thank you for watching, and I’m so glad you found it helpful!

Thank you for watching, Anna, I'm so happy you enjoyed it!
The website is microstitchery.com/ and the kits are currently 50% off, from what I can see today, July 15, 2023. Bobbie Schoonmaker has a number of beautiful options, as well as blank gauze and other goodies for sale. Happy stitching!
