Thanks for posting, I’ve just spent the last two nights in a one person tent during a downpour that flooded many streets in town and, although the Ozark Trail one person tent did not leak at all, I found it to narrow for my liking. The height was ok, the length was nice, but side to side was uncomfortable. The thing I did like was the awning that can be supported out by hiking poles. And a previous tent I owned did have doors on each side…another one of my preferences…so when I saw the features of this tent I bought it immediately. Your videos just confirmed that I have made the right choice.
@@ndsailor thanks for that feedback, it did an amazing job for such a budget priced tent and has good features, particularly liking the canopy and space. Sounds like you will be having some good trips with it, hopefully not too much rain though!
If it leaks just seal the seams and scotch guard all the material!! Easy fix for an awesome tent!! I seam seal and scotch guard all my new tents before I use them for the first time. Keep it!!!! This is a great tent!!
Yes, agree.. I keep a tube of Stormseal in my freezer ready for use and carry some patches when camping but on this occasion I returned however I buy a few tents to review and just can’t keep them all so this one went back.. it was a very good tent at the budget end of market and on reflection I should have kept it!
I own 3 forcetta tents...love em...the only problem I've found is which one to use lol.... All three have been used in heavy rain and I've never had a problem with any... Great review
6:31 it could be a factory minor defect. Hopefully that can be remedied easily. Thanks for the review. Ill probably be getting this or the North face Stormbreak 3p which is really pricy.
Sometimes with budget priced tents I find these minor defects can be quite common but easily fixed by sealing the bit that’s been missed when factory sealed and usually just where tabs are stitched..I’ve fixed a couple of tents, including this one, with a flexible repair adhesive…I have one called Stormsure and it’s very good only needing a couple of drops with the tube being kept in freezer for next time! Have fun deciding smile 😃 👍🏻 amzn.eu/d/9RLBuLL
Like my other comment said on video 1 a proper user review. I'm probably going to grab this off Amazon as a cheap get back into camping tent, but I'll be doing Kinder scout and other more wild camping which I'll probably be using the Robens Starlight 2 for but until then this will suffice. Cheers fella
@@cappasarge7595 you can get them in green as well, very good and although I parted company with mine (can’t keep everything) I am considering buying another!
I've often wondered how one can justify a £1k tent of this size, even if they made them from Gore-Tex fabric, but Hilleberg seam to be selling enough of them. If the consistency is there with the manufacturer then a fit for purpose £65 tent is a winner.
Most of the people that buy them don't need them anyway it's become a fashionable thing hence why they've jacked the prices all the way up I mean good tent but not a grand good that's just stupidity.
i bought the same tent last month i put it together and OMG it went together so fast and easy. i love it. i just hope mine holds up as good as yours. but seeing it here means i will just buy some silicone spray and when i put it up next weekend i will just spray it then
To be honest Glen, yours might be okay but cheap fix if not! Best check round to inside of fly at the tie points and you can see clearly if fully sealed or not (usually just a small bit rather than full sealant missing) You’ll definitely know if you look 👍🏻
@@thecampingbiker791 i remember back in 2002 me and my wife at the last minute decided to to go camping and we was already out of town so we hit walmart and bought a large tent set it up and 20 minutes after it started raining her and the baby was sleeping in the truck and i might as well had just slept out in the rain in a sleeping bag. so i review my stuff i buy now as much as i can.

I think if you buy some spray sealer and give any tent a coat when you first get it , it can never hurt , but to test it and no sealer id expect a leak .i still really like this tent and think im buying one ...
I’d be happy with most UK cold weather, the lower solids will keep out wind and vent well in upper mesh, but not sure it would be the best tent for storms, particularly up on mountains… should be good for majority of people’s general use though!

Enjoying your videos, and hoping to do my first motocamp at the end of the month ,wanted to ask if its safe to leave camping gear in the tent while i went off exploring the area on my bike ?
Hi Gareth, in all the years camping and leaving gear in the tent I’ve never ever had a problem….although it’s not to say it doesn’t happen but I’ve never experienced it or spoke to anyone that has. Obviously I wouldn’t leave valuables and my camping gear or tents are not in the high value category so I take a relaxed view if it happens it happens! My advice is to take the same view and it will be more relaxing for you…happy moto camping and all the best, Andrew
Great review, ..talking about two drops of water and a low price tent, for me it looks quite solid and useable for one , two or perhaps tree seasons. btw did you found a better choice? Regards Jan
Thanks Jan, I buy tents to test fairly frequently and have one from Decathlon that I’ve tested and also rate highly for value for money. Having said that, I still think the Forceatt was excellent for its cost and might buy another at some point, probably Green this time, but I do have about 10 tents so best not tell my wife 😂 Here’s the Decathlon: DECATHLON | FORCLAZ MT 500 FRESH & BLACK TENT | REVIEW th-cam.com/video/ZmRpx0gLchE/w-d-xo.html

Hi Jordan, it’s free standing with vestibules tied back or just need to peg the vestibules out. If in warm climate don’t need the fly so complete free standing 👍🏻
How much Do you geht for this cheap liter tent. It will Not survive a weak storn, because it can bei fixes properly at 4 entrance Sides. Also all 4 cornersides can Not be drilled in the Soil deep enough. Also the Connection between inner and Outside canopy on the top is bull.. It is Not worth the Money for even a leaking tent
Anyone here use the 2 person version thats like the mongar 2? Im looking to buy a new tent for all seasons. I notice there is less mesh on the bottom of it compared to the Mongar or my MSR Hubba 2 Ive used for 20 yrs. I need a new tent and I have not seen any reviews on the Foreceatt 2 person Im looking at. I need one that will keep the cold air from sinking in under the canopy in the winter or on minus 10c nights.
