I was supposed to get my midnight one tomorrow but there was a “mechanical failure” notification from UPS while it is still in China, so I’m not sure when I’ll get mine, but I can’t wait!! I preordered it 5 minutes after preorders launched, and I can’t believe it’s taking this long for orders to go out, super popular laptop!

Had previous 2 of my Macs in Silver and the Space grey is really common these days around. Went ahead and ordered the M2 Air in Starlight! Though the space grey looks really clean!
I got the starlight today and it really is nice to see it as a change to the other colours. Enjoy it when you get it 😄👍

@@HemantSomnathe I got the standard 512Gb model so that's 8Gb RAM and 10 GPU cores as well (I won't use em 😆), as I wanted it here now instead of sometime in August from Apple. I upgraded from a 2013 MacBook Air so yeah it's rather a nice jump up from that one. It's superb. Very light on my knee and a bit lighter than my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. Looks superb and I'm getting used to the MacOS again as I've spent the last 3 years on the iPad with the wife using the 2013 Mac' You won't be disappointed 👍
im planning on getting the starlight too, its my first ever macbook and loptop and id like to ask if its prone to scratching? (the screen and outer) like for example i place it on a wooden table or somewhere not so smooth im scared it might get small scratches, sorry for the dumb question i am literally clueless 😅
@@sentiments1562 well mine is still nearly new so no scratches yet. I do however take good care of my gear. There are feet underneath so it won't get marked unless you drag it across something and wood certainly won't mark it doing that. To look after the screen, just keep an eye on your keyboard area and don't leave any bits of muck or possible gritty bits on it and the screen will be fine. Just enjoy it! You will not be disappointed at all 🙂👍🏻 Get a decent sleeve to carry it around in as well.

I jumped at Midnight at first, but after seeing it in videos, and how boring and popular that colour will be, I decided not to be a sheep and I went with Silver too. I wouldn't have minded the finger prints as you can wipe them off, but it'll show scuffs and scratches so easily! and I don't actually think it looks that great anyway.

@@jamandbutter I tried microfiber cloth but it doesn't work as well as I expected. If you don't want fingerprints on your mac you should probably get another color ...
@@xanachocolat agree, and cleaning it woth microfiber all the time is just a bit annoying in my opinion so i agree with u just choosing another color because the others still look pretty clean and slick!

I would absolutely recommend it! It is very convenient and allows you to connect to all kinds of accessories.

I got this laptop brand new and my mum unboxed it without me and left it in my room with its chargers, I’ve been watching unboxings religiously but she’s mad at me for not being grateful for her paying 1/4 of the original price even though I am required to have one for school, a school I didn’t choose to go to by the way! Pretty much the only part of it I was looking forward too lol
Take it back for an exchange n open that one 😭 but I hate when my family do that then get mad that your a little upset n call you ungrateful
I'm sorry about what happened but what school requires an M2 mba? Even the M1 is quite overpowered for most students

@@justdayana_ Yes, I believe the M1 is better than the M2 base model, which has sparked some controversy. However, if you get a the M2 with larger SSD, the M2 is better. I think Max Tech yt channel explains this better

No, I don’t color grade my videos. I film on the sony zv1 and use the footage straight from there :)

Surprising not at all! With the amount I fumble around to get the charger connected, I’m really impressed! The space gray finish really stands up to scratches
