Reviewing the Gamdias Apollo E2 Elite and Talos E2 Elite PC case. Good computer cases for an entry level and mid tier system. I have mostly positive things to say about these cases.
Thanks for the informative video. I'm also looking for a budget case to build a system using spare parts . I do have a few questions though. Did you do any thermal testing for the front fan configurations? 3x120mm vs 2x200mm and maybe 2x140mm? Also would it be possible to mount the 120mm fans behind the mounting frame (closer to CPU&GPU) rather than mounting it at front (default configuration/ as seen on video) therefore creating larger air gap between front glass panel and front fan? My 1080Ti is going to need all the help it can get
You could move all the 120mm on the inside or just the top 140mm. There is not enough room for the bottom 140mm to be placed on the inside. I tested it out with a Ryzen 2600x (stock cooler) and a 6750xt. The temps were fine. Results can be found in this video th-cam.com/video/sIIqhFAlkhQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WM5vpgVE11wGInGc
Hi Jack, good video. I bought this case recently and was wondering if yours came with male connector for the front 200mm argb fans? Mine did and it means i have nowhere to connect on the motherboard without buying a female to female connector, and when i tried to daisy chain the male connector wouldnt even fit the female standard 4 pin connector.. i messaged amazon, they sent me another case and its all the same, just wondering if yours was like that? Also only my top fan lights up as there is no rgb control wire going to the bottom fan...
For anyone who wants a simmilar case for a similar price i would recommend the Montech Air 903 max. It would be cool if you could review that case next, great video.
@@jackshardwareyea it arrived today and they were pre installed. Btw would it be possible to add fans on the bottom, cause I seen ppl with the same case install intake fans on the bottom, currently I am maxed with 5 fans, was wondering if I could add at least 2 more
@d-abyz8565 it looks like it can hold 2 120mm fans but I doubt they will do much good. They are above the psu and not pulling any air directly from outside the case.
Hi. Could the front tempered glass be remove from the frame for better air flow? Is it glued? Am thinking of buying this and removing the front glass for better air flow. But I would prefer to not remove the glass frame it is attached to. Planning to keep the black glass frame and only remove the glass. Is this possible? Thks.
This case would be fine for a 2080ti. Just double check the dimensions on your card. I highly doubt it will be too long but it's always good to double check. The case has lots of air flow so heat won't be an issue. There is room at the top for additional fans to pull the air through if needed.
Hello, I am debating buying the parts to build a gaming PC but I have never done this before and was wondering if you could suggest a few budget parts for me (Preferably under $500)
For the cpu intel 12100f and gpu arc a750. Those are probably the best bang for your buck. From there you need to find what fits in your budget. 60o watt psu, 512gb nvme, get a used atx case for$20. Cheap motherboard and 2x8gbs ddr4 3200 cl16(cheapest you can get). The gpu is the main component for a gaming pc so the more you can save everywhere else the better the gpu you can afford.
Quite nice looking case, i like the 140mm RGB'S! Great Video Jack!
For the price, you can't really beat it.
Thank you very much for showing us, and reviewing this case.

a gigabyte gaming oc 4090 will fit. its 340mm. yes, it's a tight fit but it does fit.
Just bought this case, not sure where the cord for the front fans is and where it plugs in?
There is a sata connector that connects directly to your psu.

I had to use my power supply sata connector.

I'm in canada, and that case cannot be found for cheap ($200+) otherwise, I would.
does the apollo e2 elite come with standoffs pre installed. I read on the amazon description and reddit, some say there isn't
I can't remember if they were pre installed or not, but it did come with them.

it can fit 120 mm cooler or it will touch the glass?

The front glass seems to be attached to the plastic.
I have question if i buy the apollo e2 from amazon does it come with the fans or no? Im just making sure cuz its hard to find 200mm fans
It comes with the fans.
if i make a mid to high end build on this will it be fine
As long as it is not a13900k and a 4090 you should be fine. Just make sure it will fit the cooler you want to use.
would this case be appropriate for rtx 2080ti? my current budget case struggles to vent out all the heat

How to remove front glass panel for cleaning?
If you look inside the case there are plastic clips that are holding it on.

I'll look into the parts, Thank you.
Looking to see if it fits a 360 rad plus a gpu a new 7800xt red devil is this big enough? 🤔
The e2 elite can fit a 360 aio in the front. The top can only fit a 240. With the radiator in the front I don't think it can fit a 7800xt red devil.
I have XTX RX-7800XT and it fits. Tight fit but it fits. Not sure how far off are dimensions of red devil from my xtx though.
does it come with rgb controller?
No it doesn't.
would this case be good for a gtx 1060? cause im not happy my other case does not fit it :(
Yes, they would. There is lots of room for a 1060.
@@jackshardware ty for telling me you also got new sub
i also need to ask iv been searching for a long time and cant find the perfect cpu to have no bottle neck on my gtx 1060 6GB could you help?
@stupidmonkVR if you are looking used a ryzen 3600 is readily available and should be perfect for a 1060.
@@stupidmonkVRthanks for the sub. Greatly appreciated.
Hey man do you know how to remove the front panel of the apollo e2 elite?
I don't see any screws so I am going to assume plastic clips.
@@jackshardware I figured it out yesterday thanks
@@MaatjieZAhey so could you perhaps explain how to remove it, can’t find anything online, thanks.
What about gtx 1070?
It will fit
Is this case able to fit a 7800xt?
As long as it's under 340mm. My 4070 ti has no problem fitting.
@@jackshardware It can actually fit a founders edition 4090
Mine has 2080ti, it fits perfectly
fits 4090
but can it properly keep it cool? that front panel with the glass is worrying. why would they design it like that? not much air going to it
