Man Senchou really does deserve the world doesn’t she? Feels like her problems and worries just keep stacking on top of each other super easily. I’m glad she found Hololive, there’s definitely a lot of supportive people there to help her out
Just a theory but Marine is a idol who is above typical idol age (the fact that they are vr doesn't matter much here as they were trained or former idols in many case) and even though that is changing like korone it can weigh heavily on how they feel their fans perceive them. i wish there was a simple way for us as fans to say marine will never be "too old" for her crew or Korone too old to be the idol she is
we support them not just as a idol concept but overall because they are witty insightful and yes cute.
I just love Kanatan doing the voices of other Holomen, it might not be 100% spot on but it does have its own unique charm

To be fair, this wasn't really about depression, just about a nervous kind of anxiety about something that's about to happen, which is a pretty normal, healthy thing.

As a depressing dude I can confirm we make pranks and jokes about anything all the time to hide that we are dead inside and people dont need to be worried. I feel you senchou , I feel you.
Not just depressed people, most normal people would hide their sadness or uneasiness from others by joking around alot more than usual
It is really heartbreaking the news like this. Holomems always entertain us but at the same time they hide their problem and act like nothing happen. I wish they are always doing fine and keep healthy.

@@nicodalusong149 yup exactly. My mother had anger issues so anything I did back then could set her off. I have pretty good emotional radar because of it now but I'm also way too perceptive for negative emotions from other people. That causes rejection sensitivity and avoiding confrontation etc etc bad stuff.

Poor Marine, she was worried over not getting welcomed back with open arms or having a low view count, thinking that just a few weeks would make her fans forget her, Mio and Miko have had 6 months of haitus and they were welcomed with open arms, her worries were in the right place, but in the wrong way, there is no way that people who truly love her will just go away, htye will wait for her no matter how long.

Like all things in this world, depression has a good and bad side. Its my personal opinion that depression is a form of training to prepare our mental state for the next episode. Eventually you will reach a plateau just like I did.

I don't really know how to put this... but Kanata is like a healing-type, right? But especially for the more charismatic Holomems. So like, consider that Marine, and also Coco before graduation, both have big personalities, but are hard to get close to. But Kanata can sort of see right through them, and go, "oh, she's feeling down." Good person to have around, seriously.

It is literally the third major clip channel translating the same segment, and by reading the comments this is creating quite some confusion. So it would be really helpful if the clipper could precise if, based on the context provided by Kanata, this event occured before or after her comeback stream. So far I guess it happened before. But because she made the same “under the table” prank to Miko not so long ago (after her comeback), the doubt remains.

Am I the only 1 who wishes that hololive won’t grow any bigger? Because there might be someone who will feel left out and some might feel they’re incompetent compares to the others. Maybe they should debut 1 more gen for holoen and that’s it.
There are people who have stated that they’ve felt incompetent before as it is. Not debuting more people isn’t going to change that. And with making this sort of business survive, the business has to recruit new members. I personally think that it would be worse if they didn’t debut new members because that sounds like a riskier choice business-wise and not adding new members doesn’t solve an individual’s problems with jealousy. That individual needs to learn how to manage it themselves.
@@emitain8408 yea but the bigger the amount of members, the harder it is for the company to support their idols/members individually. They debut with a group of 5 (more or less) but they work as an individual. Unlike in kpop industry, they debut as group and work as a group. The competition in hololive is much more intense than in kpop industry. They have to compete among their gen mates and also their seniors or juniors. Of course, this problem is something that they can control over but the sense of competing or the feeling of inferiority will creep into their head sooner or later. For example, look at Sana. Kronii,mumei,bae and fauna is booming with clips of them on youtube while I rarely found clips of Sana. Business wise, I think it’s better to keep it small so that fans don’t keep hopping from 1 to another streamer every time a new one comes out. IMO, the sense of familiarity is important for longevity. But, just like I said, it’s only a wish of mine. It might not be the truth or not the answer to the problem and it won’t be heard anyway. That’s how business works. It will just keeps expanding

Not to mention you don’t seem to understand that there’s not one single manager for the whole company; every talent has a manager, every gen has a manager, and the company has several prolific managers.

There are vtubers from big companies and there are also indie vtubers. While in kpop, there are indie idols but most of them doesnt get the limelight like some of the indie vtubers do. How many people do you think can be accepted as a kpop idol if the industry is as big as vtuber industry right now? Ofcourse its including the indie kpop idols. Not much because they have to go through intense training that most of them gave up and they seek talents + good looks while vtuber only seeks talents. How many indie vtubers out there right now? There are tens of thousands out there. Imagine if the scale of vtuber industry become as big as kpop industry. The amount of competition will be more than ten fold. How many decades have the kpop industry been active? Decades long. Vtuber? Not even close to a decade. Its not fair to compare a current small vtuber industry to a current behemoth kpop industry. You just have to think of it logically. Again, imagine how big of a competition it would be for vtubers to compete when it becomes as huge as kpop? Plus, how bold of you assuming that I know nothing of these industries
