Chuck, I think we waited too long to buy. Prices have gone up since we visited. This past spring we were in Lady Lake for three weeks and liked that area to but undecided. We paid close attention to that hurricane and we are now rethinking making the move. I think we are going to purchase a Class C and then we could visit anytime we want and stay for as long as we want. It is hard to start over at our age making such a big move. I do hope that you continue to do your video's as I do enjoy them, it's been a while since your last one hope all is well. Alan
The wife and I visited Cypress Lakes about 3 weeks ago. Patty took us around and I was wondering if I could pick your brain about Florida living and how it is in the area around Cypress Lakes. We have just retired and are seriously considering moving to Florida. We live in upstate NY.
Very cheap and good health coverage, lot of things to do. Local stores good cost of living. No income tax. Weather is awesome. Near everything but live in the country. Lots of wild life to watch or photograph. Our entertainment is beginning to come back. Stores open and unmasked.
@@chuckkent1 What about the summers. Do you stay there all summer and is it as hot as they say? Storms a problem? I appreciate any info as we are really considering the move. We did enjoy Cypress Lakes and Lakeland area. We stayed in Kathleen area where we rented a small cottage. Even enjoyed the drive down from home as we did it in three days.
@@Alanpm176 yep Summers are hot. That's why you have AC. Pool, golf and breakfast til 10 am. Siesta until four...Go out and have a nice evening. Then do it again.
