Poor Chiquita couldn't reach the low notes due to the lingering effects of Covid. She didn't let that affect her performance though. A 13 year old would normally panic and cry because of frustration but she really pulled through. ❤

@@letalpeel8054 Not really. She had more energy on stage but was technically not better.
Ruka is really swag and powerful but Asa’s technique remains the best. Her diction was close to perfection even in the fast parts, breath control was amazing, flow switching and tone variations were better. Ruka was good too but she ran out of breath in several parts, didn’t variate her tone that much. The flow was good but no as precise as Asa’s and she stumbled on her words a few times
(Bonus : Asa’s English pronunciation was better)
I still think every opinion when it comes to music is valuable and if you prefered Ruka’s rap, you are 100% in your right ! It’s subjective after all :)

The reason i think it seems like the beginning is looping is either because Chiquita's voice cracked and they cut parts out, or more likely they rearranged the song due to her health. Chiquita's cover is only like a minute and half, but the original song is nearly four minutes. When i got covid my longes were shit for weeks, i'd get tired walking upstairs to my living room.
Considering her age though i hope she wasn't too affected and YG were just being cautious.
Yeah started a bit shakey but she pulled it off in the end. Idk why the last syllables of some of her lines weren't heard. But she just had Covid so it might have affected her in a way.
Yea it did even if you're okay now, but the side effects of COVID is still there.

There could be a reason behind it why YGE gave his artists once a year/2 years. You just have to see it in a wider lense, things that must consider. I don't often see YG artists getting health problems unlike other companies pushing their artist to work most likely 3 times comeback a year, its exhausting.
That's what I like about YGE they gave breaks to their artists and be with their families. Even though they don't have much comebacks, they still earning bunch of money.
Dont forget that the company actually announced that they will be reducing the hiatus lengths of their groups.
