- Windjammers review. Classic Game Room reviews WINDJAMMERS for Neo-Geo MVS from Data East released in 1994. Windjammers (also known as Flying Power Disc for Neo-Geo CD) is an awesome sports arcade game where you try and blast a power disc (or Frisbee) past your opponent into a barrier to score big points!

I remember playing this with a friend of mine.
This was such a time sinker.
You could battle for hours and hours. Just a perfect multiplayer game.

They gave you this console to promote it and to hype it up, and it's working the more I watch these videos the more i want to chill in the living room and play the hell out of this machine with a friend

Hey Mark! You should try out a game called Deathrow: Underground Team Combat for the Xbox. It's like Windjammers in that it has a flying disc and you must throw it into goals to score points, but it's also in 3D and allows you to punch and kick members of your opponent's team until they're rendered unconscious.
I don't know why, but this game would look very nice as a movie. :D

Best looking Pong clone ever
Unfortunately I haven't seen this game on any of the Neo Geo compilations for PS2, PSP, or Wii. And I haven't seen it show up on Virtual Console or for download on PS3 or Xbox 360. Maybe it's because it's a Data East game. There is a Data East Arcade collection disc on Wii but it does not contain Wind Jammers. This game looks like a lot of fun so I'm hoping for a Data East Arcade Collection Vol 2 with this game on it!!

Back then it wasn't so expensive, and of course why buy one when you can emulate it on a computer, but after all it's a collector's item.

There its no difference you should research a little bit cuz windjammers is released in a different region than flying power disk that's the only difference lol
